1. Full Text Index With Catalog: Issue with recent update

   Issue: previously developed .PDX (Full Text Index With Catalog) file no longer functions after most recent update (Version 2021.001.20135).

   When attempting to open a .PDX file created in Adobe Pro on a Windows 10 PC the file does not open. We also attempted to open the PDX file by clicking file>open, however, the file did not open.

   Prior to the update, when opening PDX files a separate search window would open and allow the user to search within the index.

3. Bug in rendering all caps in a simple document

   I attach a simple PDF file allcaps.pdf . The file prints fine. But when rendered on screen, the text in all capitals is not properly rendered. At 400%, it is fine. See 100percent.jpg for the screenshot showing the funky rendering and 400percent.jpg showing that it is fine when zoomed in. The Chrome and Firefox PDF renderers have no issues with this file. This seems to relate to the resolution used in the setting Page Display -> Resolution. If I use system setting (96 pixels/inch) and then set the zoom to 96%, it is fine. If I use a custom setting of 100 pixels/inch and set the zoom to 100%, it is fine. But if there is a slight mismatch (system setting at 96, zoom at 100, you get the funky display)

4. Too many comments (of any type) create lag

   I am studying a pdf and when I have arrived at almost 2000 comments adobe started not working well. For example after having underlined a word Adobe block for a few seconds and then restarts. I trid checking for uploads and restoring the version but nothing.

5. Fix read mode to NOT go to full screen mode to have only the document content visible in a window. You should have separate full screen mode

   I need to read a PDF while using others apps at the SAME TIME; Reading the documentation of the other program from a PDF file.

   I don't need toolbars. I dont' need status bars. I don't need menu bars.

   I can press ctrl-f If I want to search for something, I can press ctrl-p if I want to print the document. I don't need a buttons or search bars for those to be constantly visible.

   If I need to use ANY other functionality, I can right-click and all that functionality could be put into that right-click menu.

   I ONLY WANT TO SEE THE CONTENT OF THE PDF!

   So, you already have a "read mode". But you have failed it miserably; This read mode makes the acrobat reader go full screen, which is totally unusable; I need to be able to multitask, I need to see the documentation which is inside the PDF and to be able to use my other programs AT THE SAME TIME.

   This is probably one of the most common use cases for PDF viewer and you fail it miserably. Full screen "read mode" hides my other program. and on windowed mode acrobat reader wastes one third of my window space for unnecessary UI bloat.

   I need to read a PDF while using others apps at the SAME TIME; Reading the documentation of the other program from a PDF file.

6. Eraser Deletes All Dots Bug

   If you comment dots (no movement, just a click) with the drawing tool, erasing anything with the eraser tool will delete all dots regardless of the eraser's distance from the dot.

7. Better update procedures for automation needed!

   We see in the last month/year a much bader update experience for reader than before. The formerly usable ftp-server is not actual anymore:
   ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/AcrobatDC/
   And we see lots of customers where the function "Search for updates" inside Reader is GONE - even a clean NEW installation does not show it anymore! So what can be done if this position is gone in the help menu? And how can update enrollment be done better (actually we get the ARM folder on an updated PC and deply this packet afterwards, but this only works incremental - and if one version is missing between it hangs of course).

   Hope for ideas/informations ;-)

8. Pin the "digitally sign" button or "certificates" toolbar to the tools menu on the right hand side

   Could you please allow users to pin one or both of the above options to the tool menu, or the top ribbon, to allow one-touch use of this feature. It's such a commonly used feature to be buried under 2+ clicks.

9. Backwards and forwards arrows for hyperlinks

   It would be useful to have arrows like in web browsers to move smoothly in documents with cross-references and bookmarks.
   I am a latex user and often in pdfs produced by latex for scientific documents there are hyperlinks for equations, figures and bibliographical references in text. It would be useful in reading, once you have checked the reference to be able to go back.

10. Error message

    After using "Fill & Sign" I get this error message. (See the attached picture.) This error is caused by only one PDF document which is not possible to upload there due to copyright restrictions. (It is a drawing for production.)

11. Blur tool in Photoshop for iPad

    Photoshop for iPad is of great importance especially for natural work with a pencil. Especially with tools like brush, eraser ... But why isn't the "blur" tool available in Photoshop for iPad? This tool is directly designed for the pencil, according to my experience. Would it be possible to supplement it?

12. IE Addon AcroPDF64.dll is missing with Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020 Classic

    There is no 64-Bit IE Addon available with 2020 Classic Reader. Could you help with updating the package with the 64-Bit IE Addon to have seamless access when accessing IE with Reader 2020 Classic ?

13. Bugfix

    I'm using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2021.001.20150. I think you introduced a bug in the latest version, because I can no longer find a way to print double-sided. I'm using an HP Envy 4500 printer, which certainly does support double-sided printing, and I've used Acrobat Reader for years, but lately I can no longer print double-sided. When I press Properties in the print dialog box, that choice no longer appears.

14. Always Show Comment Tools

    Please make an Always Show Comments Bar option. I work with the stamp, shape and text box tools on many PDFs daily. I have to open the comments toolbar for each one of them. While it's a small thing to do on one PDF, it gets old fast when it must be done for each of many PDFs every day.

17. Arrow Key Scrolling Incrementation Consistency

    So I have noticed that the arrow key scrolling when using the hand tool has somewhat inconsistent increment sizes. If I press the up or down arrow key once the distance scrolled is about half a line. If I hold down an arrow key to begin the fast scrolling, then let go and continue pressing the arrow keys rapidly, the increment is more like a line and a half.

    I find this inconsistency extremely annoying, especially since the fast scrolling is redundant because of the page jumping that is achievable with the left and right arrow keys, and that the increment for occasional up and down arrow key presses is so uselessly small. This disrupts the reading experience for me.

    I've thought about trying to get around this inconsistency by using other pdf viewers, except that I primarily find myself reading password protected textbooks that are only accessible in Reader. There is Shift-Up/Down arrow key that will jump to the next line not visible, but I find this makes it easy to lose your place in the text. The point is, I want consistent arrow key scrolling incrementation.

    If any changes were to be made to this, I would suggest getting rid of the inconsistent scrolling increments and instead making it adjustable in the settings.

18. Upto spelled incorrectly on Toner saved message

    In Adobe Reader DC version 2021.001.20145 on Windows 10 a message box pops up about percentage of Toner saved. "Upto 15% of Toner has been saved while printing this PDF". The word "Upto" is missing a space.

20. regarding meaning search

    If we don't know meaning of the word while reading in a document then there must be search by web option along with the copy tab or you can simply add Dictionary into Adobe so that it will become more user friendly and more helpful to the person who is in need to search that meaning.
