Scrolling preferences window
Currently the preferences window is very hard to use and frankly, broken:
You can't scroll with a touchpad.
You can't scroll with a touchscreen.
You can't scroll with a mousewheel.
Scrolling over a combo box changes the setting >:(
Content doesn't scroll when you drag the scrollbar!
The preferences window cannot resize small enough for smaller screens.
Overall: infurating.

Acrobat Crashing When Opening An InDesign Exported Interactive PDF
I have no idea why interactive PDFs are no longer viewable with acrobat. Which is very annoying and stupid. Whenever I am trying to view an interactive element of the PDF, acrobat just tells me it is connecting and then suddenly closed the whole document (aka crashing). I don't understand why we are paying so much for adobe when they could not simply do their job. Very frustrating indeed. Worst user experience ever.

Replies to Comments turn to 4 pt type in Print Comment Summary
We have sticky note comments in a document. They appear correctly on screen, but when we choose any of the print comment summary options the replies convert to 4 pt type. Choosing "large" type has no affect on the replies. The original comments are fine. It's just replies that become illegible. I don't see a way to change this in Properties or the Comments menu.

Allow opening several PDFs in several windows - not in tabs - by default.
I know that a lot of programs are switching towards a tab-based structure when opening several files at a time. But it sometimes is very handy to be able to open several PDFs in several windows. I know that this is possible by rightclicking the file etc., but I miss a setting that opens PDFs be default in a new window - and not in a new tab.
Can there be some kind of "setting" that says:
O - open PDFs in new tabs
X - open PDFs in new windows5 votes -
Bug? Problem with Color Management (wide gamut monitor)
When viewing PDF documents containing images on my wide gamut monitor using Acrobat Read DC (Windows 10), images have oversaturated colors.
The same PDFs looks OK when opened in Photoshop or previewed in Bridge.See also this thread:
- https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/problem-with-color-management-wide-gamut-monitor/m-p/10982293I have done some systematic testing. There seems to be a color management problem/error in the (urrent Windows version of Acrobat Reader DC:
Procedure
I have made two test images:
- image-AdobeRGB.jpg: - a JPEG image file with an Adobe RGB (1998) embedded color profile
- image-sRGB.jpg: - a JPEG image file with a sRGB IEC61966-2.1 embedded color profile
For each image I have generated a PDF document using both Bridge and Photoshop. This results in 4 PDF files:
- image-AdobeRGB-BRIDGE.pdf: - image-AdobeRGB.jpg has been used in the Output module of Bridge
- image-AdobeRGB-PHOTOSHOP.pdf: - image-AdobeRGB.jpg has been used in Photoshop ("Save As": Photoshop PDF)
- image-sRGB-BRIDGE.pdf: - image-sRGB.jpg has been used in the Output module of Bridge
- image-sRGB-PHOTOSHOP.pdf: - image-sRGB.jpg has been used in Photoshop ("Save As": Photoshop PDF)
Each of the 4 PDFs has been opened in three applications:
- Bridge (10.0.3.138 x64)
- Photoshop (21.1.1 20200312.r.121 2020/03/12: c839971b587 x64)
- Adobe Acrobat Read DC (20.006.20042)
The process is shown in the attached two diagrams (as JPEG image files):
- diagram-AdobeRGB http://jjohanson-test.com/acrobat-readerdc/diagram-AdobeRGB.pdf
- diagram-sRGB http://jjohanson-test.com/acrobat-readerdc/diagram-sRGB.pdf
FINDINGS
This has produced 12 sets of findings (4 PDFs times 3 apps).
A summary:1) Previews in Bridge and Photoshops looks OK for all 4 PDFs.
2) With two exceptions (see diagrams and *) Bridge and Photoshop indicates that the correct color profile is present.
3) For all 4 PDFs Acrobat Read DC shows identical and wrong (oversaturated) colors.*) Bridge shows "Untagged" for the PDFs generated by Bridge. However, according to this:
at least the the image in the Adobe RGB (1998) version of the PDF seems to have the correct profile.Speculation
Since Acrobat Reader DC (ARDC) shows identical previews for all four PDFs (regardless of the image color profile used that also seems to be present in the PDF files), it seems reasonable to assume that ARDC takes the input profile into account (the profile(s) embedded in the PDFs). However, it seems that the output profile (in this case the profile generated while calibrating my Eizo wide gamut monitor) is not taken into account. This behavior mimics the behavior of some native Windows applications like the Edge browser and the Photos app (images with different embedded profiles are rendered identically, but with oversaturated colors on my monitor). It is interesting to note that both the Adobe RGB (1998) files and the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 files preview identically (to my eye) in both Acrobat Reader DC, the Edge browser (non-chromium) and the Windows Photos app. When using "standard" gamut monitors it will often be difficult to see that the colors actually are not correct.

Make changing accounts much easier!
Make it easier to switch between accounts. It's such a pain in the booty and it's very frustrating I'm trying to change from my school subscription to my personal account. it feels like ten minutes and it should be about 30 seconds. They should make it easier similar to Instagram Hold a button and tap. Hope you agree and vote. Bye

I am not able easily download my files made in Adobe Scan PDF app to my computer from web interface in a bunch. I am not obliged to download few files, as your system is not able download 600+ files even 100 files :(. This makes your Cloud application worthless.

When saving PDFs show "save to previous location"
When using 'Save As' for PDF's = previous versions of Adobe defaulted to the last save location, now it defaults to the main library every time and I have to do multiple "clicks" to save it to the file or folder that I want. If I am saving multiple pdf's to the same location at one time - this would save time. I don't want to 'pin' folder, as I may save to a different folder for another group of PDFs.

Make continuous scrolling the default, PLEASE!!!
I’m still baffled that the default scrolling for pages in Adobe Reader has the reader smoothly scrolling down the page, bringing the text up to eye level (no one reads down a page any more unless it’s a physical book) only to have it jump to the top of the next page as soon as the bottom of the page is in view on the screen. This results in interrupted reading and endless and annoying backwards scrolling to get back to where the reader was. I know this can be changed in the settings, but why isn’t it the default? EVERYTHING we do on our smart phones, tablets, web browsers, and MS Office products uses continuous scrolling making Adobe Reader the odd and annoying exception. Don’t be the odd and annoying exception when it’s such an easy fix. While you’re making changes, I highly recommend changing the default zoom to 100% instead of zoom-to-fit which creates an abnormally high zoom for vertical docs—the minority of users who need this magnification can change their default settings if needed. Thanks!

Windows Surface with Pen
I like the annotation experience on the ipad using the apple pencil. However when I try the same experience on the Surface using the Microsoft pen it is harder to use. For one, trying to navigate with your finger to scroll through the pages results in lines being drawn. I think it would be helpful to turn drawing off unless it is being used with the pen. Another thing. there is a button for the ipad to turn annotating on on the bottom right hand corner. On the surface there is not. It is easier to remove the lines on the ipad. However on the surface it is more difficult.

Execute most recent AR DC (32-bit), click on any of the recently opened PDF files from list, file opens and content displays, then AR DC locks up, requiring use of Task Manager to kill it.

[FEEDBACK] "send report" floater doesn't recognize W10 default Mail app
when clicking "help" > "generate system report" > "send report", the dialog that opens is completely outdated and not usable.
it doesn't recognize the default Mail app on Windows 10, it just prompts me to use a web service like yahoo or gmail.
besides that, the WHOLE adobe reader program is outdated. i'm 1000% sure it has code that is more than 10 years old and it definitely needs to be rewritten from scratch.

Adobe Reader bug when using Fill & Sign function
We are using Adobe 2020.013.20066 and all our team experience the same bug. When entering a text block using Fill & Sign; the entered text not only appears on the page where it was originally entered but it then 'appears' on random page throughout the document.
Attached example shows screenshots from a document pasted into a word file.
More examples on the Adobe's forum: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/bug-in-adobe-reader-when-entering-text-field/m-p/11647598?page=1#M73751
This bug surely needs to be fixed.

Screen Filter
I guess this falls under UI? I'm ADHD and it would be SUPER helpful to have a feature where I can dim the screen except for an area I'm currently reading. I read a lot of professional articles and when I go to write a note I completely lose my place. It could be just a static section and as I scroll the section stays the same so I'm effectively moving my page through it. I can cope if I print out the pages, but articles are frequently 12+ pages each and I'd rather save the paper and be able to "filter" digitally.
If you're feeling really fancy, maybe make it so the size and location of the filter can be changed.
