An error occurred while saving the comment Hello,
Currently Expandable form fields can't be created using Acroforms. This is already supported in XFA forms, where there is a concept of dynamicity. In case of Acroforms, field layout/positioning/size is static.
But still you can try below workaround :
Create a text field with a multi-line property and a font size set to “auto”. This will allow the size of the font to be automatically resized to a smaller size so the text fits into the field bound.
Steps :
1.In PrepareFormApp, Right click on a text field and select Properties2. Under Appearance tab, click on font size and select “Auto”
3. Go to Options tab and check “Multiline” checkbox.

An error occurred while saving the comment Acrobat 11 is no longer supported (https://helpx.adobe.com/support/programs/eol-matrix.html) and the functionality to set default font is already available in Acrobat DC.
Preferences -> Content Editing -> Font Options
You can use the trial version of Acrobat DC to see if it fits your need (https://www.acrobat.com/free-trial-download.html).
Also, Acrobat 11 and Acrobat DC can coexist side by side so you need not uninstall Acrobat 11 to test out Acrobat DC. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Hello,
Hope below steps work for you :
1) Launch any PDF and Expand the Panel that you want the acrobat to open by default for every document(For Ex. Page Thumbnails)
2) Right click on the LHP Navigation strip , Select the option from the context menu "Pin Page thumbnails" .
3) now try out by launching any other pdf -> You will observe that the Page thumbnails panel would appear expanded by default on launch(If document does not have any other document specific preference )
Let us know if it works.
