Bug: LiveCycle Designer form not showing up in Acrobat Pro 2019.012.20036
Since the update from 2019.012.20035 to 20036 I cannot even view a PDF-Form created in LiveCycle Designer on Acrobat Pro Win any longer. Also the DataMatrix-Field that worked perfect with 20035 is not updating in Adobe Reader (where I CAN display the form!!!). On a Mac with same version visibility of the form YES, but also no updates of DMC on both Pro and Reader. This must be fixed very soon!

Can you give me a timeframe for the publishing of the update? My client needs the fix desperately, because thousands of deliveries have now to be done by hand, because of the broken matrixcode. This is very urgent!

Hello Gaurav,
I've put a sample (stripped down) document that shows the functionality to the document cloud: https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/track?uri=urn%3Aaaid%3Ascds%3AUS%3Aed399d38-df6c-4631-b840-21f636629396
There is a textfield that fills with the same calculated content that is shown as the DataMatrix field on the lower right. The calculation-code is the same.
I know that reader-functionality with this file doesn't work, usually after programming we add this functionality with the add. Adobe extension.
But Acrobat Pro DC did as expected show the Matrix-Field until the last update. Clients who could before use the file (with extension) in Reader are cut off.
Contact me if you have further questions, this is a real heavy bug.
Using Windows 10 latest version, MacOS 10.14.6 also with Acrobat Pro latest version doesn't show any longer the Matrix-Code. -
Hello,
We're sorry for the trouble you had after the latest release, would you mind sharing more details so that we can investigate further?
What is the OS version?
Is it happening for all files?
If not, please share(if possible) the bug or similar sample file. You can use Acrobat Share functionality for sharing the file.
Refer Share files online with Adobe Acrobat for more details on anonymous or public link. Thanks,
Gaurav
