Sign in parallel
Would love for the sign in parallel option to come back!
1 voteHi Bethany,
We really appreciate your feedback and are working hard to improve the app with recurring updates. However, it is important to mention that parallel signing is available in the most recent version of the application. To enable this feature, you can use the following instructions:
1. Start Request E-Signature workflow with any valid file
2. On Add Recipient modal, uncheck the "Recipients must sign in order" checkbox. This will enable Parallel signing
Please let us know if you have any further questions or comments regarding this or any other feature of our app.

Email Address of Recipients of Publicly Shared File Revealed
This file is showing the external names and email addresses of potential applicants. Not sure if this is an intended behavior, but since this is supposedly a publicly facing link, its a little strange that users who gain access automatically have their names and email address associated with and accessible by other users.

Thanks for your feedback. We'll discuss this internally with the team and get back to you.

Automatic Field Detection Issue
Please, please, please, please turn off automatic field detection. It's ruining documents pre-prepared to send out for signature. The auto field detection is covering information already populated on the form and, in some cases, erases the information. This causes the client to have to sign multiple times or I have to print the form after signature to fill in the erased information. HELP

E-signature not working properly
When using a fillable form and requesting an e-signature with the new update, it removes some of my fillable boxes and when it gets sent out it is sent out in a different format then what I had it in.

features are missing
I use features from the classic version such as file attachment, that are not currently available on this version. On the new version we cannot cc a person until the end of the process, but on the classic version we can cc someone at the beginning. We lose the ability to cc someone immediately upon switching from the new to classic. Can the cc option be available to us at the beginning of the process on the new version?
I'm also having issues with the signature lines getting moved to a different location on the form after it is signed…

Everything regressed
This version of Adobe E-Sign sucks. How do I go back to the old version where things just worked?
Adobe now balloons up files and then limits the amount for Adobe E-sign. It used to just work. I would question anyone's sanity if they recommended this iteration of Adobe.
1 voteHello James,
We understand you are encountering some trouble with the new feature in Request e-signatures. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. With Modernized experience, you now get simplified document authoring experience, leverage AI-assisted form field detection and ability to revise, organize & save document edits in-progress, add/ remove recipients during agreement creation step. Here’s more information.
If you still prefer to use the earlier version you can revert back by following these steps:
1. Click on your profile icon.
2. Select "Settings".
3. In "E-signing settings", uncheck the box next to "Use the latest version of Request e-signatures".This change will only affect new created after making this adjustment. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in resolving this issue. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Product is Frustrating
I use this tool to create and edit PDFs and collect e-signatures using "Create Web Form" and "Request E-Signatures." Adobe seems to get more complicated and more difficult to use. A few specific complaints:
(1) stop with all the interruptions about your new features. I don't want to take tours and learn about new features. I don’t need to learn how to edit a PDF. I don’t want to watch videos about Adobe. I have work to do and you're getting in my way.
(2) I pay for this, it's buggy, it crashes. I just had to uninstall and re-install…1 voteHi Tim,

Recipeints sign in order
Under E-sign option, it would be good to have a popup to confirm if the a document needs to be signed by recipients in order. Recently we missed checking the option of recipients will sign in order and we had to cancel the agreement and send it again

Good improvements with flawed delivery stystem
The new placement of text/signing boxes works well for completing documents electronically. The uploading and sending of those documents? Not working well. Takes 3 or more times sometimes of prepping a document, entering remarks, and trying to send before it actually gets sent out.

Text zone moves when releasing placement click
When moving a text zone, releasing the click makes the zone move slightly down, as if it was "settling in" in a sort of 3D effect. While probably done on purpose to look cool, that makes it very difficult to precisely place text zones where wanted.

Auto created fields will not be deleted
Fields have been created for me but some are not actually places for the signer to enter information, and when I click "Delete Field", the field will not be deleted/removed. So I have to go back to the old version which is frustrating.

There are signed documents that are appearing in the "Waiting for you section". They are completed and not in fact waiting for a signature. Please fix asap.

Missing Signatures, No Technical Support Available
My Signature was deleted from my Adobe Account. Your technical support team refused to help restore it. I have hundreds of saved documents in Adobe that are signed with this signature. Adobe could recover that signature from any of these documents, but refuses to help

Signatures Not on Lines since Update
Since the update, signatures and dates are not appearing in the spots they're supposed to be, or where the blanks appear to be before the form is sent for e-signature. Usually the signature/date is higher than the blank line, appearing in the form writing.

Change signature date default
I need a way to set the default of the date of signature to be the US version of (MM/DD/YYYY) and not the day, month year.
1 voteHi,
We understand you're experiencing issues with this version of Acrobat Web. However, it's worth mentioning that it's possible to change the default date format by adding a date field when using the Request e-signatures workflow, then double clicking the field and scrolling in the field properties panel and in the Date format drop down, selecting the desired format. This change will persist for future agreements.
Please, feel free to contact us if you have any further question.

Please retain prefill stage for e-sign templates
The only reason I use Adobe Acrobat is for it's ability to prefill template forms that I've previously set up. The new edit option does not allow me to work in "prefill" mode anymore, for example I can not tab from one space to the next. PLEASE bring back the prefill option for the new format. I will not use your product anymore if you don't and the only reason I'm still using it is that I can switch back to the legacy version. There needs to be a stage where you are not only editing the types of data…
1 voteHi Erin,
We understand you're experiencing issues with this version of Acrobat Web. However, it's worth mentioning that it's possible to fill in fields before sending the agreement for signature using the Prefill Role. Below are the steps to do so:
- Start Request E-Signatures with any valid document.
- In the window to add recipients, do not add yourself; this will allow you to use the prefill role.
- Click continue.
- In the Authoring view, add the fields you need to fill in before sending the agreement and assign them the Prefill role.
This way, when you click "Review and Send" and send the agreement for signing, you'll be able to pre-fill the designated fields.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any further question
