Very specific issue with Adobe Reader on a Mac
I am a professor of Ancient Greek, and use many documents that use polytonic Greek fonts. For some reason, when I copy-paste from PDFs opened in Adobe Reader on a Mac (no problems on a PC!), one particular character doesn't get copies (ἀ). Many similar characters are just fine (e.g. ἁ, ᾶ, ά, ἂ etc). When I open the same files with other programs/browsers on the Mac, there are no issues. I know this is hyperspecific, but I wanted to bring it to your attention.

letter on several pages including p. 22.

Bug: Certain PDFs not readable
We have multiple users with this intermittent issue. Some times the PDF font will show up properly, sometimes it is gibberish and unreadable. It is inconsistent and I cannot seem to resolve the issue.

Bug - touchscreen highlighting while viewing multiple pages
Hello, I have found a bug. When in the following configuration:
- Read Mode OR Fixed-width scrolling
- Viewing two pages at once (i.e. bottom of one page and top of the next page are both visible on screen)
- Using the touchscreen of my 2-in-1 (HP Elitebook G4 if that's relevant) to highlight text
I am able to tap once to select a word on either page, but one one of the two pages, I am not able to alter that selection (i.e. grab the little handles at either end of the selection and expand it to include more text). Instead, it…

BUG: Path starting with \\?\ will fail
When double clicking a file in Windows Explorer where the path is longer than 260 characters does not work as default. But I have been able to create a workaround that enable this.
If I type the following in cmd.exe:
AcroRd32.exe "C:\Very long path\file.pdf" then that will fail.If I enable "Enable Win32 long paths" in Group Policy and try the same command, then it works. This means that long paths are supported when it is enabled in Windows.
I created a bat-file like this:
set str=%1
set str=%str:\?=%
AcroRd32.exe %str%This will remove \?\ from the first argument and…

Adobe Acrobat PDF Doesn't Convert Custom Page Sizes From Microsoft Word
I have a Microsoft Word file that has custom page size specified in the layout (specifically width 6.14" height 9.14"). There are also custom margins. When I convert to pdf via File > Print > Microsoft Print to PDF a pdf file is created but the page size is not correct. A pdf file is created that is 8.5"x11" not 6.14"x9.21". After trying to debug and spending 6+ hours with Microsoft tech support, there seems to be a problem on the Adobe side when the Word file is passed to Adobe to be converted into a pdf. I have noticed…

Fix issue: Cant repair PDF thumbnail issue on Adobe Acrobat DC Reader Windows 10
I have had issues for several months with the thumbnails on PDF icons only. They are sometimes transparent, solid black, or have the PDF icon only. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times. I have "enable PDF thumbnails in Windows Explorer" selected. Adobe Acrobat DC Reader is my default program with version 2021.001.20135. I have tried many things over a while, as this really was bugging me. Tonight I installed "Fixes for 64-bit Adobe Reader preview handler and thumbnails" from:
https://www.pretentiousname.com/adobe_pdf_x64_fix/index.html#thankI figured I had nothing to lose and surprisingly it fixed the issue, especially as it hasn't been updated…

Printing mixed paper sizes no longer works in Win version of Reader DC
I am an IT manager with 28 PCs and 5 Macs. Cannot print mixed originals with latest DC version. Mac version still works. I've had to reactivate XI on some machines because we rely heavily on printing mixed originals. Obviously XI is no longer supported and I am running into other issues with that.

Download whole content on Cloud
I am not able easily download my files made in Adobe Scan PDF app to my computer from web interface in a bunch. I am not obliged to download few files, as your system is not able download 600+ files even 100 files :(. This makes your Cloud application worthless.

Full Text Index With Catalog: Issue with recent update
Issue: previously developed .PDX (Full Text Index With Catalog) file no longer functions after most recent update (Version 2021.001.20135).
When attempting to open a .PDX file created in Adobe Pro on a Windows 10 PC the file does not open. We also attempted to open the PDX file by clicking file>open, however, the file did not open.
Prior to the update, when opening PDX files a separate search window would open and allow the user to search within the index.

Bug in rendering all caps in a simple document
I attach a simple PDF file allcaps.pdf . The file prints fine. But when rendered on screen, the text in all capitals is not properly rendered. At 400%, it is fine. See 100percent.jpg for the screenshot showing the funky rendering and 400percent.jpg showing that it is fine when zoomed in. The Chrome and Firefox PDF renderers have no issues with this file. This seems to relate to the resolution used in the setting Page Display -> Resolution. If I use system setting (96 pixels/inch) and then set the zoom to 96%, it is fine. If I use a custom setting…

[FEEDBACK] "send report" floater doesn't recognize W10 default Mail app
when clicking "help" > "generate system report" > "send report", the dialog that opens is completely outdated and not usable.
it doesn't recognize the default Mail app on Windows 10, it just prompts me to use a web service like yahoo or gmail.
besides that, the WHOLE adobe reader program is outdated. i'm 1000% sure it has code that is more than 10 years old and it definitely needs to be rewritten from scratch.

Gray outlines around edges of transparent areas in embedded raster images
This issue is best illustrated with an example.
I generated a 5x5 png test image (test1.png) with transparent background and a 1 pixel wide green strip through the middle, embedded it into an svg (test1.svg), converted it to a pdf using inkscape (test1.pdf) and then viewed it in Acrobat Reader DC on windows 10, downloaded and installed today (2020-01-27). The result is shown in the attached image test1_acrobat_windows.png.
Notice how the green band fades first to gray, then to white, instead of fading directly to white. The same pdf file rendered with PDF.js looks like one would expect, as seen…

Fix Issue: Adobe Reader DLL Crash
We have a web based application running on our Citrix environment. We are running Windows Server 2016 (1607) and Citrix VAD 1912 LTSR CU1. The users login to the web based application and eventually it will trigger the opening of a PDF within Internet Explorer. This process will work most the time but we find after the user does anywhere from 7-10 instances of the process Internet Explorer will crash.
We first monitored performance on our server but identified there are no CPU/RAM bottlenecks. We even isolated users to one server to test and they still have the issue. We…
