  1. Allow for selective sync on libraries

    The request is to allow for selective sync on libraries because the creative cloud is taking up too much space and storage on my computer and a lot of my libraries do not need direct access at this time.

  4. My Android Reader can invert the display (white text on dark BG). Can the Desktop app do the same, easy on the eyes?

    In mobile Reader App, I can change the display to Night Mode (inverted color, white text on dark BG). Can I do the same in desktop Acrobat DC?
    Please make it so.

  5. Enable access to files in long folder paths (longer than 255 characters)

    AR is unable to open files where the file and folder path exceeds 255 characters. To accommodate this we have had to replace it with a competitor's software.

  8. Make Acrobat Reader to reopen all documents previously opened before

    Because I have to work many times on a multitude of opened pdf files that I need to keep open for days in a row, I think a feature to restore previous session of opened documents (just like Firefox or Google Chrome) would be really helpful!

    Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out to us for you conerns.

    We already have it implemented in Reader.
    Do “File” → “Reopen PDFs from last session.” And that should restore all the pdfs that were present in you last session at the time of Quiting the application.

  12. Stop seizing control of default apps on my computer.

    I have a legal copy of Acrobat Pro X (Creative Suite) that I love (I use it over Creative Cloud supplied by my employer). PROBLEM: I cannot have Reader DC (needed for shared forms sent to me occasionally) installed at the same time as it always acts as default app even though the Windows 10 default app still lists Acrobat Pro. This is as infuriating as when Edge automatically changes this every time there is a Windows update. I already own Finereader 15 that does everything Acrobat does and more and does not require a monthly subscription. You lost a…

  13. Linux support via wine

    I like all adobe products but I don't like the fact that to use them I should use Windows or Mac. I understand supporting Linux is a huge work but for something as small as acrobat reader it is possible with little effort.

    It is possible to install acrobat reader on Linux via wine. I suggest packaging acrobat reader with wine and distributing it to Linux.

  14. The font changes automatically by filling in the forms and using Polish diacritics

    Reporting a new bug:

    Steps to reproduce the issue:

    -> Open the document / form
    -> Use the "Fill & Sign" tool
    -> Enter any text using Polish diacritics, e.g. Ą, ą, Ć, ć, Ś, ś, Ż, ż, Ź, ź etc.

    Environment:

    -> OS: Windows 10 Pro 1909 (18363.719)
    -> Adobe Acrobar Reader DC Version: Polish (20.006.20034)

    Expected result:

    -> Forms should have a continuous homogeneous formatting. Unfortunately, even different fonts appear in one and the same field. Surprisingly, this problem does not concern German diacritics.

  15. Read Out Loud Function - highlight words or phrases as it is reading

    The Read Out Loud function really needs to be updated so that it works better for individuals with reading difficulties, such as dyslexia. If they want this aspect of adobe to work well and actually benefit many of those who need it, it should highlight words and phrases as it is reading so that is easier to follow when reading, and know where in the text the reader is.

    This will make the product a lot more accessible to people with dyslexia, dyspraxia or the likes.

  16. Bug Report - Expanding exe package fails to extract msp file

    When using the file from https://ardownload3.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/AcrobatDC/2500120756/AcroRdrDCx642500120756_MUI.exe

    executing the command
    .\AcroRdrDCx642500120756MUI.exe -sfxo"C:\Temp\Files" -sfx_ne

    results in a 0 byte AcroRdrDCx64Upd2500120756_MUI.msp file.
    When running the extracted Setup.exe, the installer will fail with exit code 1636.

    Workaround is to open AcroRdrDCx642500120756_MUI.exe with 7zip and manually extract the msp file.

    This was not an issue with AcroRdrDCx642500120577_MUI.exe

  17. Newest Version not Printing all Pictures

    DC Sep 2025 Version 25.001.20744 will not print all pictures. We have downgraded to DC Sep 2025 Version 25.001.20693, opened the same document, and all pictures print. No other settings were changed. This is on a windows 11 machine. We are printing to a Xerox AltaLink C8245 with the PS driver.

  18. Bug report: Cannot print in Acrobat Reader DC 25.001.20744

    Windows 11 24H2 (OS Build 26100.6584)

    Acrobat Reader DC 25.001.20744

    Multiple users of the software cannot print to any print devices on 25.001.20744.

    They receive the error:

    "The document could not be printed, kindly use our help page to troubleshoot. If you continue to face this issue kindly reach out to Adobe support for assistance."

    When we roll Acrobat back to a previous version, printing works again.

    Please advise.
