Password requiring 6 characters
Requiring 6 characters on a password is unnecessary and hurts the user-friendly nature of the program. This decision is asinine.

Would like to remove the editing toolbar from opening with every document
Recently it appears that a "feature" was added to Reader DC such that whenever you open a PDF, the editing toolbar with a button to click for a free 7 day trial of Acrobat, which looks ugly and unprofessional. The client would have to click an arrow to the right to move it out of the way, or go into View-Read Mode to see the uncluttered document. Or use full screen which is unwieldy.

Bug: Acroread Plugin causes Firefox to hang
Bug: Acroread Plugin causes Firefox to hang and later the whole system crashes
..when loading this document:
https://www.unesco.de/fileadmin/medien/Dokumente/Wissenschaft/WWDR_2018_infographic.pdfIn Adobe Acrobat Reader DC the file is displayed correctly. Using the browser plugin the page starts in white, sometimes there's a flickering in white and black extending to the whole screen. Later the system stalls and other applications report memory problems. I was unable to make a screenshot as the system was not navigateable anymore

Can't print PDF files from my Mac to HP printer
I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 21.001.20145 on my iMac with Big Sur version 11.2.3 and an HP M277C6 Laser printer. I am unable to print documents. The printer says printing document and the printer pop up window says printing document, but it never completes and never actually prints anything. I am able to successfully print the same document using the PDF Expert app. All other programs print just fine, it's only your program that can't print.

Read Out Loud Feature Needs Serious Improvement
Suggestions for this feature:
1. Add read out loud to the toolbar for easier access, including pause and play options. The read out loud feature is currently very inaccessible from the "view" drop down menu.
2. Allow user to choose where to start reading and stop reading by highlighting text, rather than the limited ability to only read full pages / the entire document
3. Upgrade voice - please consider adding a more adaptive voice to the program for read out loud. the system default is not pleasant for listening and we know the technology exists to have more advanced AI voices such as Google Assistant, Siri, and Alexa integrated into software.
4. Echoing another user - definitely highlight words / phrases being read aloud. These suggestions are already standard features in many of my digital textbooks; however, the majority of my reading as a student consists of PDFs from scientific journals. As a college student with a visual impairment, I would really like to see these features be improved to meet today's technological standards and made more accessible to individuals with disabilities. I am planning on completing a five-year graduate program, and will be eagerly waiting for these improvements to be made.

"highlight current bookmark" does not work any more
When the above option is selected the hightlighting of the current bookmark should follow the reading, i.e. the hightlighted bookmark should be synchronous to the currently read text. This was the case in former Readers but does not work any more.

a feature which allows the user to translate text in a PDF
environment: Windows 10
Need a feature which can translate PDF text from Russian to Dutch, Russian to English please.
As the PDFs aren't like Obama's bc; I can't just open layers in Illustrator to copy & paste, then use a google translator. Plus, with crochet patterns, meaning is everything.
For now I am paying a lady in Petrograd to do the English trans for me. Thanks, research0digo a/t gee male!1 vote -
Adobe Reader 21.001.20145, 32BitMAPIBroker.exe crash when exiting (OL 2013, Server 2012 R2)
We are using Adobe Reader 21.001.20145 (32 bit) Optional update, Mar 10, 2021 and Office 2013 Version 15.0.5275.1000 (32 bit) on Windows Server 2012 R2 with all updates installed (March 2021)
The error occurs after sending an email (successfully) using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 21.001.20145. If you then close Acrobat Reader, the program crashes with the error 32BitMAPIBroker.exe (see screenshot attached).
The problem does not occur with an older version, fe. 2020.006.20034 of Acrobat Reader .
The same problem existed before, here is the reference to it

Hide (not collapse) Right Tool Pane completely.
The collapsed Right Tool Pane violates usability principles. To quickly scroll a page, users can no longer just drag the mouse cursor all the way Right, to click on the Right scroll bar. This would probably take only 1 sec. With the annoying Right Tool Pane collapsed, nesting right beside the Right scroll bar, users must now carefully drag the mouse cursor, take aim so-as-to not click on the Right collapsed pane, then can he/ she click on the right scroll bar. This is really slow and inefficient.

Adobe Reader causes MS Edge to slow down opening pdfs
I use Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 to view pdfs because it loads pdfs very quickly, and is smooth and responsive; it takes less than 5s to open 300MB+ pdfs.
Installed Adobe Reader recently because I needed the Fill & Sign function. I use Reader to Fill & Sign pdfs while viewing other pdfs with Edge.
After the installation, Edge takes more than 15s to open a pdf, even with small pdfs under 1MB. It has also become laggy. Chrome isn't affected though.
Completely closing Adobe Reader and reopening a pdf with Edge again solves this issue. It's a workaround but after a couple of days it's starting to get annoying. Please fix this.

Cannot disable 'Fill & Sign' autocomplete.
I've already went online to unchecked the 'Auto-suggestions' option and cleared suggestions history.
Went back to using the Windows offline version. I am not signed in. suggestions still pop-up. Please look into this.
Also, for the love of all's good, please make this setting more accessible. Either make this setting available directly within the app itself or accessible directly online.
I cannot fathom why would they make the user jump through hoops for simple, commonly used functions. It's almost as if the offline and online functions were designed and developed completely separately and then later clunked together.
Recently kind of being forced to going back to using Adobe Reader after more than 10 years. Whatever happened to the workflow of the past as demonstrated in PS and Audition?

BUG - Black cursor mark can become frozen on screen
If you put the cursor mark in the text of a pdf, then click out of the window while the cursor mark is black, it will remain black on the page frozen until you click that spot again. This can be repeated infinitely, making a bunch of black marks on the page.

File Name Does Not Appear on Adobe Reader Tabs
When I open different PDF files, the file names does not appear in the Adobe Reader tabs (as tooltip)! A simple example: if I have two copies of a tax form, one for me and one for my wife (with different file names), when I opened them in Adobe, the name appears the same and it shows the type of form only (form name only and not the file name) for both of them. When working with some files (e.g. I am opening some different standards to read at the same time), it is hard to find the one you are looking for without having the name. I believe this was working fine before and was showing the file name, but it does not show the file name in newer versions anymore.
I am using Adobe Reader DC , version: 2021.001.202155.Thank you for looking into this issue!
