  2. look this is feedback & if it is not where is it really?

    But my immediate problem is I am not able to find a newly created pdf from my brotherscanner/copy/Brother printerMFC 7340.why?
    This was easy in Acrobat x? thanks for a reply

  3. Many scanners are not duplex. Thus, users scan odd pages (1, 3, 5, etc.) first then save the file. Next, users turn the stack over to scan even pages (n, n-2, n-4, etc.) then save the file. The problem comes when trying to combine in sequential order. Please create a tool that simply selects odd page file, then reverse even page file, then combines in proper order.

  4. Adobe DC suddenly stopped scanning documents ... Error Message "Scan Cancelled" .. and done ... What is my monthly subscription for if the product is so finicky in operation?

  5. If I press the [big blue scan button] from the "Configure Predefined Settings for:" dialogue, the scan fails, if I have modified the preset [without saving] before scanning.

    If I save the modified settings, then scan from the previous page ["use a predefined scan setting"], it works fine. There are similar issues on the "Known Issues" page, but not quite the same as this. I'm using Windows10 64bit Canon TWAIN driver for Canon DR-C225 scanner. All software upo to date. Thanks in advance!

  6. How to invoke crash: Open Acrobat. Select File -> Create -> PDF from scanner. Select "HP Office Pro 8740 TWAIN". Let it scan 2 pages from the document feeder. After the second page has been scanned I get messages "optimizing", "converting to searchable image exact", "optimizing" and then error dialogue "Adobe Acrobat DC has stopped working".

    How to avoid: Open Acrobat. Select Tools -> Create PDF -> Scanner. Select "HP Office Pro 8740 TWAIN". Let it scan 2 pages from the document feeder. Once I have scanned via the Tools menu path, I can scan successfully using the File menu path that failed…

  7. Like the Adobe Standard, could scan more than one page of documents

    now I have to scan 1 page at a time loading and reloading, time is money..why change something that works. Don't understand taking that feature out of the software. Please bring it back, I'll have to find another program that will do this.

  8. When I try to scan & create a new PDF file, the program crashes after scanning 9 times out of 10. The only reliable way to scan and create a PDF is to combine it with a blank PDF file.
    I'll take Acrobat XI over this time consuming software any day. Unless Adobe is willing to repay me for time lost!

  9. Every time I scan something (usually in HiRes), Adobe crashes. I have had 3 support cases in the past where they reset a bunch of stuff and do a new installation. That only works for a few scans, then the issue comes back.

  10. Potrzebuję odczytywać dokumenty przesyłane w różnych językach,ale zawsze wyświetla się dokument w jednym, Nie wiem jak mogę zmienić i przetłumaczyć na inny. Nie widzę nigdzie też żadnych podpowiedzi na dokumentach i koncie PDF

  11. Bug report- even when set for both sides scanning, scanning occurs on only one side. This occurs on both of my printers.

  12. Scanned PDFs that are made searchable and editable DO HAVE at least two layers, but my Adobe Acrobat Pro DC does not show the layers when I click on the layers icon. I really want to talk to a human being of the Adobe REAL support team and have this issue fixed - I tried the chatting - it is useless!!! Please give me the opportunity to talk to a real ADOBE support person!!! I pay a lot of money every month and this issue is going on since quite a while!!! I have attached an example of a file…

  15. Please forward to your designers:

    Your OCR and optimization settings are all guesswork and generally produce counter-intuitive results in terms of image quality and file size.

    Not only are the results counter-intuitive, it seems there is no combination of settings which does not create a fuzzy mess of the text.

    Adobe is incomprehensibly inept at handling its own creation.

  16. I use Adobe Standard XI and have problems with the text identification tool. If for some reason the identification is not performed (lack of memory etc.) it goes into a loop requiring an answer for every page in the document before letting go. How can this be overcome?

  17. Every time I scan in a new document, the thumbnails open and takes up half the screen. Please make a way to turn this option off permanently. This is one of the most annoying new parts of the last upgrade.

  19. I photographed a page from a book and when I attempt to OCR it Acrobat crashes. You don't need to respond to me about this directly. I just want you to have a copy of the file that crashes Acrobat, since this is 100 percent repeatable.

    The shared file is not found to be crashing on Win/Mac Machine with Latest Acrobat DC/Acrobat XI versions.
