Option to Disable “Highlight Existing Fields” on iPad
I’m currently using Adobe Acrobat Pro to create a PDF form with fillable fields. When I open the document in Acrobat Reader on my iPad, all existing form fields are automatically highlighted in purple.
While this can be helpful for identifying interactive fields, it can also be visually distracting and interfere with the intended design of the form. It would be useful to have an option to disable or toggle off the “highlight existing fields” display on the iPad version of the app.
Ideally, users should be able to choose whether fields are shown with highlight borders or only display a subtle hover or interaction state instead. This would improve readability and allow forms to appear cleaner when being viewed or filled out on mobile devices.
