3. New Layout is utterly counterproductive

   New layout of Adobe Reader is utterly counterproductive, and makes everyday use of Adobe Reader much slower and confusing.
   I, as well as many other users I know, am using Bookmarks and Pages in at least 95% of times when I use Reader. Therefore, they should be placed on the left, where they are expected to be (it is simply a standard for similar "master-detail" situations).
   Also, primary tools, like paging, zoom-in and -out, are placed in a bottom-right corner, just like they were hiding?! But these are the basic tools, and they must be placed centrally, either on top or on the bottom of the screen.
   On the other hand, toolbar with tools for commenting, highlighting, etc. is placed on the left side, taking unproportionally too much space on the screen, while it should be placed where toolbars usually are. I'm using these tools practically in less than 1% of times, so their current position is just annoying.
   There must be corresponding options, allowing users to customize positions of these UI elements, so we can place them to best suit out everyday needs.

5. Uncomfortable tab selecting and closing with full-screen mode in Mac new layout

   Whenever I decide to go full-screen with my Mac (the green button in the top left corner, not the Adobe reading mode), it is almost impossible to choose from the different tabs that I have open, and it is even harder to close them. Why?

   The new Adobe Reader layout has the tab bar higher and closer to the Mac menu bar. While you enable full-screen, the Mac menu bar is hidden and you only access it while moving the cursor to the top of the screen. Now, as Adobe's tab bar is on top, whenever you try to select a different tab or try to close it, the cursor is displaying the Mac menu bar on top of the tab selector. This makes the experience of changing or ending activities quite uncomfortable, since you have to use the keyboard and the trackpad in a very specific way. Sometimes it takes up to one minute just trying to change/close bars, and it is frustrating to waste time in such a basic thing. If you could try something to fix the situation it would be amazing for Mac users that rely heavily on full-screen working, thank you!

7. App crashes if first click has JS behind

   We have circuit diagrams as PDFs, that contain components that, when clicked, pop up a list of info. In the current version, the app crashes if the first thing that is clicked on is a component.
   If I click somewhere else first, then the component, it works as expected.

8. Add preferance setting or option to not show tools or bookmarks by default for all documents

   There should be an option to open files/adobe with Tools and Bookmarks NOT enabled. It is very annoying and inefficient to close those 2 windows every time i open Adobe to read a PDF. See pic of how files open by default, not very useful to see the document contents with a smaller window/screen without closing the undesired left/right bars.

13. Provide option to reverse the mouse wheel zoom direction.

    When I mouse wheel away from me I expect the view to zoom out. When I scroll the mouse wheel towards me I expect to zoom in. Please add the option to reverse the mouse wheel zoom as it is so annoying that this is the only software that has the default action backwards and no option to change it.

15. App crashes when fetching certificate revocation list

    When opening some digitally signed files, adobe attempts to fetch the certificate revocation list which take a long time, this then crashes the app and makes it unusable once loaded, the fix for this is to go to task manager kill adobe and restart, for these specific files though they cannot be opened
    I have tried all the fixes in the below link but has not resolved this issue

    Hi all! NLCSD is a collaborative project involving Salus University and several other academic institutions, supported by the U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs. The national leadership consortium in sensory disabilities https://nlcsdproject.org/ offers doctoral programs that specialize in sensory disabilities such as blindness, visual impairment, deafness/hard of hearing, and deafness-hard of hearing.

20. Toolbar Updates - Roll Back

    Please, keep the Toolbar menus as they have been; there is no benefit to the professional end-user community for the change, we don't have the time to learn yet another new way to do something that works fine in the original format. We know you are bored. Please find something else to do. We appreciate that you kept a lifeline out of the mess that was done, truly. On the next security patch update; kill that bloody "new menu" option. It'll wind up becoming unsupported, and another security surface opportunity for villains.
