1. Make scrollbar visibility better

   Acrobat reader 2025 scrollbar is too narrow and especially the slider location in it very hard to see.
   Improve it or give user ability to change the appearance.
   Very difficult to understand why it was changed from good to annoying.

2. Updated ADMX file to control Menu>Preferences>General>Always Open PDFs saved from the web.

   Create a new ADMx or Customization Wizerd to be used in GPO to control settings for Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. In this particular instance, I am looking at managing Menu>Preferences>General>Always Open PDFs saved from the web. By default this is on. We are finding that even when in a Corporate environment and settings are set via GPO preventing Edge or Chrome from opening within browser itself and we have a paid PDF writer software set as default that will open PDF, when clicked on from download within browser Adobe Reader also opens. Traced it back to this exact option. I would like to globally set this so it would be off.

   This option would be beneficial to be controlled, modified in a corporate environment (preferably GPO via ADMx)

   Could Acrobat's UserVoice page have a "Costa Menu"-style section like https://costamenu.uk/ ? Something simple that shows popular tools, new features, and recommended options in a clear menu like the layout. 8. BUG: Acrobat crashes when opening PDFs from shared iCloud Drive folders on macOS 26.0.1.

   Acrobat version 25.x crashes on macOS 26.0.1 when opening PDFs that are stored in shared iCloud Drive folders. The same PDFs open correctly in Preview, Chrome, or when copied to Desktop or to a non shared iCloud folder. The issue happens every time with any file in a shared iCloud folder, so it is fully reproducible.

   Environment:

   macOS 26.0.1 (25A362)

   MacBook Pro M2 Max, 96 GB RAM

   Acrobat 25.001.20841 (latest version as of November 2025)

   Steps to reproduce:

   Save any valid PDF into an iCloud Drive folder that is shared with another Apple ID.

   Open that PDF directly from Finder using Acrobat 25.x.

   Acrobat launches and immediately crashes.

   Expected result:
   The PDF should open normally.

   Observed result:
   Acrobat closes instantly with an EXCBADACCESS (SIGSEGV) crash. The same file works fine if opened from Desktop or a non shared iCloud folder.

   This appears to be a regression in the new unified Acrobat app. Acrobat DC 24.x works perfectly on the same system.

   Please investigate Acrobat’s handling of shared iCloud Drive folders on macOS 26.

9. Allow User to Adjust Appearance of Digital Signature Before Saving

   Adobe should make the "Use a certificate" method in Reader be a two-part process:
   The first part allows the user to place the signature graphic and adjust it until it's just right
   The second part should be the "Sign" button that actually locks the the graphic in place and digitally signs the file, opening the save file prompt.

   The problem:
   It's difficult to know if you have drawn the correct sized and shaped box that the signature graphic will appear in. You are only able to know if you did it correctly AFTER you have signed the document digitally, and saved the PDF. If you made a mistake in the placing of the graphic, then you have to reopen the original PDF and start the "Use a certificate" process all over again and save the document the second time.
   If the user had a chance to adjust and tweak the location and size of the graphic before "signing" the document, they would be sure that they are happy with how it looks before the PDF is cryptographically signed.

   Adobe should make the "Use a certificate" method in Reader be a two-part process:

11. Bug report: Background Processes not closing exiting Adobe

    Since upgrading a large number PC to Win 11, Adobe background process does not always close on exiting Adobe and won't relaunch without either killing the background process or rebooting the PC. Have tried reinstalling on 1 PC but it did not fix the issue. All the PC are running Adobe Acrobat - version 25.001.20756

    When viewing PDF files in Microsoft Edge, I often rely on the built-in translation feature that allows me to select text and instantly translate it. However, after installing Adobe Acrobat (or Adobe Studio), the Adobe extension overrides Edge’s native PDF viewer, and this translation functionality becomes unavailable.

    I believe it would be highly beneficial if Adobe and Microsoft could collaborate to ensure that translation features remain accessible even when Adobe’s PDF tools are active within the browser. Ideally, users should be able to select and translate text regardless of which viewer is being used.

    This would greatly improve usability for multilingual users and enhance productivity when working with international documents.

15. undo form

    Undo (ctrl-z) does nothing while using Fill & Sign.

    Add a text box, fill in text, then click outside it. Nothing happens I assume. I did this 3-4 times, then clicked on signature to add that. Signature image was added, but then it lost focus. I guessed it might have gone behind the form itself. So I try to ctrl-z to undo my last actions (standard ctrl shortcut on Windows for undo). Nothing happens.

    And I don't see a menu option for undo either. Every action will be manual during Fill & Sign? Why even claim it helps anything? I was expecting OCR and it to create text fields automatically in blank space on this obvious form (Oregon Department of Revenue tax form). Not this add a text field, type a bit, then adjust where it truly appears (repeat ad infinitum)

    I coach AI as a job.

    I think Adobe should name their AI agents (we can all agree its probably the same one) dependent on the program used to access it.

    Eg-Acro (branded, gender neutral) or Betty (cute, alliterative - Betty the acroBat) for the acrobat reader program, for an image give it a cartoon bat with glasses/holding a file in its paws.

    This sort of update helps users personify and interact with AI in a calmer way.

20. Why is the "Save as PDF" button grayed out in QuickBooks?

    The Save as PDF button might be grayed out in QuickBooks due to a missing PDF component, user permissions, or problems with the QB software. You can fix it using the QuickBooks PDF Print & Repair Tool with the following steps:

    1. Download and Install the QuickBooks Tool Hub
    2. Open the Tool Hub app
    3. Navigate to the Program Problems tab
    4. Click on QuickBooks PDF Print & Repair Tool
