Incorrect selection of Text
In other pdf's, the selection tool is working fine.
but in this pdf file, whenever I am trying to select the text or highlight the text, it will highlight or select text in between lines space.
I have attached the screenshot in attachments.1 vote -
PMI
I saved a 3D-PMI file into PDF file format. When I use my desk computer with NVIDIA Quadro K2200 to view the notes in PDF, the item selected cannot highlight in red. But if I use my laptop with Intel integrated graphics card, the item selected can highlight. How this Issue happens? I have updated my driver already and my DirectX version is 12.0. All settings in AdobeReader are the same.
Could you tell me how to solver this problem?1 vote -

Separate zoom in +, zoom out - and zoom percentage buttons in the toolbar by default
It is very inconvenient and time consuming to make multiple clicks in order to zoom in or out the document. In the older versions they were separate and easily accessible. Drop down menu style is really exhausting and time consuming for these kind of basic operations. Please separate the zoom buttons !

see multiple - previous, next and/or out of sync - pages at once or a quick view between them
a feature that allows selection of a random, or multiple random, pages to view on the same screen or view with a quick action while reading.
much like when physically reading a technical publication that refers ahead or behind to photos or diagrams, you'll start to hold the page(s) with maybe a finger or two so you can quickly switch back and forth.
it would be nice to select a certain random page or maybe 2-3 to show on screen while reading your current page.
another option would be the ability to select 1 or multiple pages to view then…

Hide (not collapse) Right Tool Pane completely.
The collapsed Right Tool Pane violates usability principles. To quickly scroll a page, users can no longer just drag the mouse cursor all the way Right, to click on the Right scroll bar. This would probably take only 1 sec. With the annoying Right Tool Pane collapsed, nesting right beside the Right scroll bar, users must now carefully drag the mouse cursor, take aim so-as-to not click on the Right collapsed pane, then can he/ she click on the right scroll bar. This is really slow and inefficient.

Internet PDF Editing
In the influx of remote learning, students are being sent work in PDFs. Opening them through Google Classroom in an internet browser offers no way to easily edit the content and fill in answers. As this will be a way of learning for the immediate future, something needs to be rolled out to allow this to be done for free for students. Currently I have to download and then open with adobe, but it’s a lot of extra steps when it could be so much simpler.

Open PDFs in Read mode and full screen Thumbnail navigation
Hi. I would like to see in future versions two new improvments:
1) set the "read mode" as de default viewing when opening every PDF file, instead of having to press "Ctrl+H" each time (just add an option in Preferences);
2) create a new form of navigation throughout the file, a full screen thumbnail view, with page thumbnails side by side similar to what Adobe made with "Adobe Reader Touch" (too bad you discontinued that app) with a button shortcut to access it;Thanks

Ability to completely turn off collapsed sidebars
Please for goodness' sake give users the option to completely remove the left and right sidebars instead of merely collapsing them. For users using Reader, the vast majority of the time all they will want to do is only read a PDF, and many will want as much screen space as possible to do so.
For the average Reader user, in the left toolbar the only thing they may want is thumbnail or chapter view. This could be on the top toolbar, with the other options available on a drop down menu from that button if you really must keep…

Bad design: Stop forcing mouse pointer in Acrobat Reader
Acrobat Reader DC changes the mouse pointer into its own scheme. Not talking about the specific tools, just the standard mouse when hovering over the Acrobat window.
I don't have the best vision, so I have my Windows mouse pointer set to be very visible, or I will lose track of it on the screen. But when using Acrobat, I lose track of the pointer, because Acrobat INSISTS that I don't get to use my custom pointer, but rather use the virtually invisible Acrobat default.
Why would Acrobat need to change the pointer? I get it for specific tools, like…13 votes -
Bug: explorer window shadows disappear after opening Acrobat Reader DC
After opening Acrobat Reader DC (in a windowed mode, not in tabbed), it, for some mysterious reason, switches off the Windows 10 Explorer setting for windows to cast shadows. It results in focused folder windows becoming visually borderless, making it very difficult to work with them.
The problem was described here for Acrobat DC:
https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/38822896-bug-shadows-disappear-on-windows-10-explorer-wind
but it fully (and even more irritably) applies to Acrobat Reader DC, too.It seems that for some reason, Acrobat Reader changes (switches off) each time the inherent Windows setting which can be found in System > Visual Effects tab > Show shadows under windows…

Rotate Counterclockwise
Do you know it often takes three clicks to get a sideways facing document to align vertically using rotate clockwise? Please make all our lives easier, by adding an option to rotate counterclockwise as well.

Allow the Menu bar (F9) and toolbars (F8) to be hidden permanently
SUGGESTION
With the current version (2020.006.20034), these can be hidden but for the current session only. Put an option in settings to hide these interface elements globally.WHY THE FEATURE IS NEEDED
To maximize vertical screen real-estate; as most of the devices these days are shipping with widescreen displays.8 votes -
