  1. I signed in using the wrong email account. When I tried to sign out so that I could sign in with the correct account, the service would not allow me to sign out until I had agreed to sign up for a seven day trial on the initial account. It seems like a very bad design to not let users sign out until they agree to a trial

  2. Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) is a Microsoft rights management solution. Users of Azure Information Protection and other Microsoft Information Protection solutions can use Acrobat or Acrobat Reader to read labeled and protected content. Plug-in

    want to view under each PDF's taps to view all MIP classification for easy usage.
    similarly as Microsoft Office word Document
    the MIP classification shows under the Ribbon.

  3. When the DDE command "DocGoToNameDest" is called in Reader DC 2021 x64 (Win10 Pro 21H1 x64) by a x86 program, the Reader crashes. The same call in the x86 and earlier Reader versions works without any problems.
    The DDE command "DocOpen" works in the x64 version without any problems, that is, the handle to conversation is correct.
    In addition, the x64 Reader is only entered in the registry under "Computer \ HKEYCURRENTUSER \ SOFTWARE \ Adobe \ Adobe Acrobat" and not in "... \ Acrobat Reader" and requires "acroviewA21" instead of "acroviewR21" as the service name.

    1. Open the attached document, which is a dishwasher manual, in Acrobat reader, and search for the word "floor". It will not be found. However, it's present in the document on page 6 in the bottom of the left column.

    2. In Reader, go to the page 6 and copy to clipboard the line beginning with "When the GREEN LIGHT"'; then open Notepad and paste. You will see the space in the middle of the word "floor".

    So it looks like the text has a space in the middle, although the word appears in Reader without the space. This makes more difficult…

  5. Please allow the option for Windows default cursor. It is impossible to find the cursor set that is default in a document. That little Cross cursor gets lost so easily and I have to move mouse from one end to the other until something reacts and lets me know where it is then try to guess its location as I move towards my click.

  6. I'm working on a book and constantly use very large documents (300-600 pages) that I need to search through for specific terms. Trying to search for something as simple as a single word doesn't work 95% of the time. The app either (1) freezes and never returns results or (2) presents hundreds or even thousands of results for the first letter(s) of the term I entered in the search box. Ironically, I've uploaded those same huge PDFs to my iPhone and Adobe Acrobat Reader works perfectly, easily finding those exact same words in those exact same huge documents within second.…

  8. Acrobat reader displays text on the first page of a generated document, however, every other page does not display the text.

  10. Adobe Reader has a bug when it comes to pdf files that get updated. I create pdf slides using latex+beamer. After recompiling to make a new pdf, sometimes adobe reader does not like displaying the updates. I close the tab for that file and reopen the file only to see that the old version without the updates. Sometimes the file also then displays some pages as entirely blank from the point where the changes were made onward (or so I am guessing). Quitting Adobe Reader DC, reopening Adobe Reader DC and then reopening the file works to then show the…

  11. Hi,

    We have installed the latest Adobe Reader(2021.005.20048) and the MIP plugin(AIPPlugin2100520048RdrDC.msi). Now we can view the banner, but a label name is not correctly displayed in the banner. There is a problem with turkish character in the label name as seen in the attached screenshot.

    A label below should be “İç Kullanıma Özel\Kişisel Veri”. This seems a bug of MIP plug-in when it retrieves and displays label names in Turkish.

    Can you recommend us any solution to fix this problem?

  12. I am trying to sign in to another adobe account on my desktop. The way the software application has been built MAKES THAT EXTREMELY ANNOYING AND DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE

    Because for whatever reason, who ever developed the sign-in flow DIDN'T REALIZE THAT PERHAPS SOMEONE WOULD WANT TO LOG IN TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT SO LETS GIVE THE USERS THE OPTION TO DO JUST THAT!

    Instead, what the application does, is it forces the user to continually log into the same **** account and no matter how many times you try to get to log in page, it AUTOMATICALLY SIGNS YOU IN

Previously when i had fullscreen view on (ctrl+L) and would then open a new document from second monitor while the other was still on fullscreen view, it would open the new document in fullscreen as well. Ever since the latest update when opening a new document the program exits fullscreen view no matter what kind of settings i have on.

    Steps to reproduce

    1. open pdf file
    2. go to fullscreen view with CTRL+L
    3. open a new pdf

    Expectation: new document to be opened in fullscreen
    Observed resul: program exits full screen when openin a new document

    Hello,

    Sorry for the issue that you are facing here.
    However, this Change has been done explicitly with this release update.

    This is done because previously there was a bug(ADC-4100538) that on opening the 2nd PDF when a pdf is already launched in Full screen View, The Top Toolbar, The Left hand navigation pane and the Right hand taskpane used to appear clipped which is undesired behavior.

    As a part of Fixing this bug, we now switch out the view from Full screen view if User switches to any existing PDF Tab or Launches another PDF.

  16. Recently it appears that a "feature" was added to Reader DC such that whenever you open a PDF, the editing toolbar with a button to click for a free 7 day trial of Acrobat, which looks ugly and unprofessional. The client would have to click an arrow to the right to move it out of the way, or go into View-Read Mode to see the uncluttered document. Or use full screen which is unwieldy.

  17. Bug: Acroread Plugin causes Firefox to hang and later the whole system crashes

    In Adobe Acrobat Reader DC the file is displayed correctly. Using the browser plugin the page starts in white, sometimes there's a flickering in white and black extending to the whole screen. Later the system stalls and other applications report memory problems. I was unable to make a screenshot as the system was not navigateable anymore

  18. I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 21.001.20145 on my iMac with Big Sur version 11.2.3 and an HP M277C6 Laser printer. I am unable to print documents. The printer says printing document and the printer pop up window says printing document, but it never completes and never actually prints anything. I am able to successfully print the same document using the PDF Expert app. All other programs print just fine, it's only your program that can't print.

  19. When adding a correction which involves a superscript number or letter, when I "post" the correction the superscript is changed to a subscript.
