My complaint is about how much you SUCK!!!! I pay $16/month to open and edit PDFs. I pay half that to view movies!!! And that's faster than loading and opening your POS software! how you became a standard is what is wrong with this god forsaken planet!

  4. The smaller icons were hard to match up with comments/edits, but these huge ones are impossible. Love the comment tool (as a graphic designer who passing brochures and ads off for review) but this feature surely could use improvement. Thanks!

Thanks for bringing this issue to our notice. Your valuable feedback helps us improving our product. We discussed about this particular issue and we do not have any plans to work on it in immediate future. However, we’ll have it in our radar and might revisit at an appropriate time in future. We shall notify you when we implement this .

  5. Please add a separate opacity scale for "fills" and "borders" in the draw shapes, or add a "no fill" option for color. Right now they have to have the same opacity, and it would be nice to add boarders without a filled in box.

  6. As a freelancer I sometimes work in "untimely" hours for example at 05:00 am. (Many will understand me).

For this reason I would like the option to be able to select all the changes made by me and be able to change the date and time in a simple way.

Currently there are "tricks" but it would be more comfortable if it could be done more simply by some option.

    Thanks.

  8. In previous versions of Acrobat, in the Comments pane, there was an visual indicator of the color of the comments. But in Acrobat DC< all the comments look the same. The color changes based on the AUTHOR NAME, which I suppose might be useful for some people, but not for me. The color of the comments in the comments pane needs to reflect the color of the actual comment, as it did in previous versions.

Please restore the comments to look the way they did in previous versions.

  9. Built-in element in the comment toolbar similar to a text box that would allow the user to enter comments with more complex math expressions and style them in a decent manner. Compatibility with Mathml, Mathjax, TeX could be considered when implementing such a feature. Likely, a comparable feature would boost Adobe Acrobat's popularity in various scientific communities.

  11. When I enter text comments (comment --> add text comment), I can type onto the page as usual, but when I click away the comment becomes grayed out or transparent, so it is difficult to read without clicking back on the comment. I have explored all settings and have not been able to turn this off. I would like to have my text comments remain full color.

  12. There should be an Selection Cursor (Black Arrow) tool like all other adobe programs in comment mode.

Right now if I am in text tool in comment mode. It is almost impossible to select the box to move it.

Like all other adobe programs, create a black arrow selection tool, which can also be triggered by holding command key.

  13. I have a ten page pdf. this document has about a dozen comments scattered on six different pages. In Acrobat Pro DC, there is no way to get all the comments to print out to one page (or more for a lot of comments), with each comment including the document page number of the comment. The default options will print the comments page by page, which seems a waste. In the example sited Acrobat would print out six pages to show what amounts to one-half a page of text.

    Hi All,

Thanks for bringing this issue to our notice. Your valuable feedback helps us improving our product. We discussed about this particular issue and we do not have any plans to work on it in immediate future. However, we’ll have it in our radar and might revisit at an appropriate time in future.

    1. Add a legend text box on a static page (the red boxes you find in the comment section)
    2. Try to resize the text box
    3. You'll find that the icons are not accurate : they change very quickly from "resize cursor" to "move cursor" to the little arrow, and it is very difficult to resize or even move the box.

    Environment : Mac OS 10.11.6 Acrobat 11.0.22

  14. When highlighting, a recent update made it so that the edges of the highlight are rounded, rather than straight up and down. This is problematic when using highlighting to make comments for a compositor to do something with text in a proof, because it is not crystal clear which characters the highlight is actually applied to.

For (just one) example, if I highlight a word within parentheses to mark for the compositor to make it italic, it looks like the parentheses are also highlighted when they are not.

The attached screenshot with the blue selection shows what the selection looks…

  15. Ability to undock the comments list and view it horizontally.

There are cases where the comments can be really long, and a vertically orientated list makes it really difficult to read, not to mention the comment may even take up the entire comments pane. Sharing the same screen space between bookmarks, the actual content, and the comments list makes everything less readable. Users should have the option to undock the list and view it anyway they like.

  16. If I create .pdf from websites, there is today many in which text can not be highlighted as the .pdf comes as picture.
So can we have an kind of an highlighter pencil so that highlighting is also possible in pictures?

  17. I would like the addition of a checkmark within the drawings tool. I find the new highlighter blob tool kind of clunky, and I'd much prefer to use the drawing markup tools when I need to highlight objects. But right now, with the drawing markup tool I have to reduce the opacity, in order to get the object below to show through. I'd like the Drawing Markup Tools to actually be able to highlight the objects, using the highlight blending mode as the Highlighter tool does.

Please add a checkmark at the top of the color picker that for "Highlight"

  18. It would be nice if comments you've dealt with would drop of the "None" filtered list. It keeps you from revisiting comments and it helps you track what still needs to be done.

Right now the only workaround is to reset the filter to "All" and then refilter for "None". Do-able, but a real PITA.

This feature is not required as on changing the status, the comment will suddenly disappear which will become troublesome to use.

  19. Those page number divisions in the comment pane are problematic. It is SO EASY when clicking into that pane to accidentally hide a whole set of comments and not notice. I have zero use for those dividers, and it woul be nice to be able to make them go away and not clutter up the comments pane.
