Check yourself
You should realize that there are free alternatives to your software and the level of obnoxiousness that dealing with you trying to force me into a subscription vs the functionality you offer turns me so off of your product that $2/yr feels like your taking me for a ride. Find a better way to sell yourself, maybe allow more features for free and the upsell includes quality of life features + maybe cloud storage. Figure it out.
