Improve date format options for E-signatures
To whom it may concern,
I work in legal and compliance for a medical device company in Ireland Europe. We heavily rely on adobe acrobat for collecting E-signatures over 3 locations, 1 in Ireland and 2 in the USA. Currently the date formats that can be automatically used and "customised" do not allow us to be complaint to our internal procedures. Even the custom date formats, if attempted to be used, the ones we need, are not allowed on your platform. Please allow us to use the date formats as follows DD MMM YYYY or DDMMMYYYY which would show as 01JAN2024 or 01 JAN 2024.
Furthermore to tackle this, one method to ensure we do have the correct date format on documents we get signed through Adobe Acrobat is to pre populate the document with the expected date of signature but if you do not get the document signed on the same date inputted to the document, then the agreement will then have to be cancelled due to the document being signed on a different date to the one that is prepopulated on the agreement.
Please fix this it would be major improvement for us and would help our documents date formats be complaint to our internal procedures.
File attached showing the custom options that are displayed when applying a date field to a document in preparation for collecting e-signatures.
I cannot assign a required date field (Example: which would show 01 JAN 2024 or 01JAN2024 (DD MMM YYYY or DDMMMYYYY)
Please change this.
Kind regards,
Liam Gosling
