Enable 'find' to search for pdf
Thank you for allowing this contribution! I scan all the time. I never relaized that I had to go to the online acrobat site to sort the scans so I could go through, look at the pdf's, determine what I should have named them originally, and name them! The worst part (this is where you come in) is after scrolling down several months worth, toggling the check box to see a preview of what the document is, I open it, print it, rename it, then I have to start all over again, scrolling down for miles, to get back to where I was. I tried page using 'find' and putting in key words used in the name, but only the left sidebar is included in the search! Perhaps you can figure out a better way for those of us that make the decision to scan without immediately saving each scan by name, and sending it to the perfect resting spot! Just to make sure you get a little laugh before you go to work on this one, here's a copy of the text I sent to my bestie to let her know why I had been inaccessible while doing this unbelievably long task:
. . . I feel like I’m feeding sheets of paper to the man in the basement that types up everybody’s requisitions - you know, the one handed guy, missing his pointer finger!!! I decided after this job, I’m NEVER doing quick rush jobs on necessary paperwork EVER again. Take the time to file & organize as you go. What good is paperless record keeping if you have to requisition the four-fingered, one handed man in the basement to retrieve it?!
