  2. environment: Windows 10
    Need a feature which can translate PDF text from Russian to Dutch, Russian to English please.
    As the PDFs aren't like Obama's bc; I can't just open layers in Illustrator to copy & paste, then use a google translator. Plus, with crochet patterns, meaning is everything.
    For now I am paying a lady in Petrograd to do the English trans for me. Thanks, research0digo a/t gee male!

  3. I use Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 to view pdfs because it loads pdfs very quickly, and is smooth and responsive; it takes less than 5s to open 300MB+ pdfs.

    Installed Adobe Reader recently because I needed the Fill & Sign function. I use Reader to Fill & Sign pdfs while viewing other pdfs with Edge.

    After the installation, Edge takes more than 15s to open a pdf, even with small pdfs under 1MB. It has also become laggy. Chrome isn't affected though.

    Completely closing Adobe Reader and reopening a pdf with Edge again solves this issue. It's a workaround…

  4. I've already went online to unchecked the 'Auto-suggestions' option and cleared suggestions history.

    Went back to using the Windows offline version. I am not signed in. suggestions still pop-up. Please look into this.

    Also, for the love of all's good, please make this setting more accessible. Either make this setting available directly within the app itself or accessible directly online.

    I cannot fathom why would they make the user jump through hoops for simple, commonly used functions. It's almost as if the offline and online functions were designed and developed completely separately and then later clunked together.

  5. If you put the cursor mark in the text of a pdf, then click out of the window while the cursor mark is black, it will remain black on the page frozen until you click that spot again. This can be repeated infinitely, making a bunch of black marks on the page.

  9. Following bug has been introduced with a recent Adobe Reader (or Windows?) update. It affects all our customers.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Create a 64 Bit C# application (32 Bit Works)
    2. In the application, use ActiveX, or WebBrowser control and open/navigate to "C:\documentname.pdf"

    Expected result: PDF shows up

    Actual result: Screen stays gray. In the Windows Error Reporting you will see that AcroPDFImpl64.dll has crashed.

    It is very important for us, because our customers rely on this functionality and our software product is currently not useable due to this bug.

  11. When I use Fill & Sign tool all letter are typing as barcode. I have no option to change font.
    BUT! when I type "space" - barcode font is changed to normal text. After deleting space I have barcode again.

  12. When reading a book from the adobe document cloud, it's always a necessity to have an internet connection. But sometimes it could really help if there's an option to make the file available offline, synced to the latest changes. We can always save the file locally, but that would not help to sync the changes like notes/highlights made on the file to other devices.

Previously when i had fullscreen view on (ctrl+L) and would then open a new document from second monitor while the other was still on fullscreen view, it would open the new document in fullscreen as well. Ever since the latest update when opening a new document the program exits fullscreen view no matter what kind of settings i have on.

    Steps to reproduce

    1. open pdf file
    2. go to fullscreen view with CTRL+L
    3. open a new pdf

    Expectation: new document to be opened in fullscreen
    Observed resul: program exits full screen when openin a new document

    Hello,

    Sorry for the issue that you are facing here.
    However, this Change has been done explicitly with this release update.

    This is done because previously there was a bug(ADC-4100538) that on opening the 2nd PDF when a pdf is already launched in Full screen View, The Top Toolbar, The Left hand navigation pane and the Right hand taskpane used to appear clipped which is undesired behavior.

    As a part of Fixing this bug, we now switch out the view from Full screen view if User switches to any existing PDF Tab or Launches another PDF.

  15. In a shared document on macOS Mojave, press Shift + Left-Arrow. The app displays an error message and locks up. The OK button does not dismiss the error and the app must be Force Quit. H/W is MacBook Pro and Apple Wireless Keyboard.

  17. I share PDFs to clients and they correctly receive the email and click the button link which displays the shared PDF.
    I'm sure that in the past I've received email notifications whenever they have viewed the file. (The status of the PDF then updates in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC desktop app to say 'VIEWED' or 'OPENED'.)
    Recently I've had no notifications and no updates and yet the client HAS received and viewed the PDF. Through much testing, I've worked out that the notifications/updates only trigger if the client is signed in to Adobe (with an Adobe ID) which I find…

  18. Adobe Reader suffering from delays when printing PDF files, switched reader to Edge or Foxit same files print without any issue. Repair install performed along w/ complete removal + reinstall of Reader but issues continued. End users reported problem did not appear until recently, possibly a bug with the latest build.

  19. It seems that after updating to Big Sur, I cannot save files locally on my desktop from a remote server. When I open the file off the server and then go to save as to my desktop, I get an End of File was reached unexpectedly error. I am running Reader version 21.001.20155. This error does not happen on macOS Catalina 10.15.7 so I am not sure if this is something Adobe or Apple has to fix. I will be filing a separate ticket with Apple on this matter. Thank you
