  1. Bug report - Abobe Reader not working

    Abobe Reader not working attaching a screenshot below. I'm using macOS big Sur 11.5. There's a white window it shows up on top of a Abode reader.

  2. updates to pdf file not displaying and then pages display as blank

    Adobe Reader has a bug when it comes to pdf files that get updated. I create pdf slides using latex+beamer. After recompiling to make a new pdf, sometimes adobe reader does not like displaying the updates. I close the tab for that file and reopen the file only to see that the old version without the updates. Sometimes the file also then displays some pages as entirely blank from the point where the changes were made onward (or so I am guessing).   3. BUG:MIP Plugin Language Problem

    Hi,

    We have installed the latest Adobe Reader(2021.005.20048) and the MIP plugin(AIPPlugin2100520048RdrDC.msi). Now we can view the banner, but a label name is not correctly displayed in the banner. There is a problem with turkish character in the label name as seen in the attached screenshot.

    A label below should be “İç Kullanıma Özel\Kişisel Veri”. This seems a bug of MIP plug-in when it retrieves and displays label names in Turkish.

    Can you recommend us any solution to fix this problem?

  4. EXTREMELY ANNOYING

    I am trying to sign in to another adobe account on my desktop. The way the software application has been built MAKES THAT EXTREMELY ANNOYING AND DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE

    Because for whatever reason, who ever developed the sign-in flow DIDN'T REALIZE THAT PERHAPS SOMEONE WOULD WANT TO LOG IN TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT SO LETS GIVE THE USERS THE OPTION TO DO JUST THAT!

    Instead, what the application does, is it forces the user to continually log into the same **** account and no matter how many times you try to get to log in page, it AUTOMATICALLY SIGNS YOU IN

  6. File opening bug introduced in the version 21.005.20048.

    Previously when i had fullscreen view on (ctrl+L) and would then open a new document from second monitor while the other was still on fullscreen view, it would open the new document in fullscreen as well. Ever since the latest update when opening a new document the program exits fullscreen view no matter what kind of settings i have on.

    Steps to reproduce

    1. open pdf file
    2. go to fullscreen view with CTRL+L
    3. open a new pdf

    Expectation: new document to be opened in fullscreen
    Observed resul: program exits full screen when openin a new document

    Hello,

    Sorry for the issue that you are facing here.
    However, this Change has been done explicitly with this release update.

    This is done because previously there was a bug(ADC-4100538) that on opening the 2nd PDF when a pdf is already launched in Full screen View, The Top Toolbar, The Left hand navigation pane and the Right hand taskpane used to appear clipped which is undesired behavior.

    As a part of Fixing this bug, we now switch out the view from Full screen view if User switches to any existing PDF Tab or Launches another PDF.

  7. Password requiring 6 characters

    Requiring 6 characters on a password is unnecessary and hurts the user-friendly nature of the program. This decision is asinine.

  8. Would like to remove the editing toolbar from opening with every document

    Recently it appears that a "feature" was added to Reader DC such that whenever you open a PDF, the editing toolbar with a button to click for a free 7 day trial of Acrobat, which looks ugly and unprofessional. The client would have to click an arrow to the right to move it out of the way, or go into View-Read Mode to see the uncluttered document. Or use full screen which is unwieldy.

  9. Bug: Acroread Plugin causes Firefox to hang

    Bug: Acroread Plugin causes Firefox to hang and later the whole system crashes

    ..when loading this document:

    In Adobe Acrobat Reader DC the file is displayed correctly. Using the browser plugin the page starts in white, sometimes there's a flickering in white and black extending to the whole screen. Later the system stalls and other applications report memory problems. I was unable to make a screenshot as the system was not navigateable anymore

  10. Can't print PDF files from my Mac to HP printer

    I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 21.001.20145 on my iMac with Big Sur version 11.2.3 and an HP M277C6 Laser printer. I am unable to print documents. The printer says printing document and the printer pop up window says printing document, but it never completes and never actually prints anything. I am able to successfully print the same document using the PDF Expert app. All other programs print just fine, it's only your program that can't print.

  11. 2D rendering

    large file with 2D graphics with areas of transparency is displayed with long delays compared to competing for software. I have Intel UHD 630 graphics and NVidia MX150 which is great for games with full HD resolution. There are also no problems with UHD. On the other hand, displaying in Adobe a 2D file when scrolling, zooming in or out has delays of up to a second!
    No options in the graphics acceleration panel. Was not found.
    This software uses only one GPU not even in full. Furthermore, 3D graphics work excellent but not 2D.

  12. there is a bug when correcting and adding a superscript number

    When adding a correction which involves a superscript number or letter, when I "post" the correction the superscript is changed to a subscript.

  13. Read Out Loud Feature Needs Serious Improvement

    Suggestions for this feature:
    1. Add read out loud to the toolbar for easier access, including pause and play options.The read out loud feature is currently very inaccessible from the "view" drop down menu.
    2. Allow user to choose where to start reading and stop reading by highlighting text, rather than the limited ability to only read full pages / the entire document
    3. Upgrade voice - please consider adding a more adaptive voice to the program for read out loud. the system default is not pleasant for listening and we know the technology exists to have more advanced AI…

    Hi,
    Thanks for connecting with us. I went though all the requests suggested by you. I would like to inform you that :
    For #1, Shortcut keys exist for Pause, Play like Ctrl+Shift+Y/V/B.
    For #2, the feature is supported. Click on any paragraph after enabling Read Out Loud and it will read the paragraph. For specific content read, we have informed the management and have been kept in radar for future improvements.
    For #3, you can add the voices though system language setting and the voices will be visible in Acrobat if they exists on system.
    For $4, we have informed the management and have been kept in radar for future improvements.

    Try the latest enhancements and features on the latest version of Acrobat Pro DC.

  14. "highlight current bookmark" does not work any more

    When the above option is selected the hightlighting of the current bookmark should follow the reading, i.e. the hightlighted bookmark should be synchronous to the currently read text. This was the case in former Readers but does not work any more.

  16. a feature which allows the user to translate text in a PDF

    environment: Windows 10
    Need a feature which can translate PDF text from Russian to Dutch, Russian to English please.
    As the PDFs aren't like Obama's bc; I can't just open layers in Illustrator to copy & paste, then use a google translator. Plus, with crochet patterns, meaning is everything.
    For now I am paying a lady in Petrograd to do the English trans for me. Thanks, research0digo a/t gee male!

  17. Adobe Reader 21.001.20145, 32BitMAPIBroker.exe crash when exiting (OL 2013, Server 2012 R2)

    We are using Adobe Reader 21.001.20145 (32 bit) Optional update, Mar 10, 2021 and Office 2013 Version 15.0.5275.1000 (32 bit) on Windows Server 2012 R2 with all updates installed (March 2021)

    The error occurs after sending an email (successfully) using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 21.001.20145. If you then close Acrobat Reader, the program crashes with the error 32BitMAPIBroker.exe (see screenshot attached).

    The problem does not occur with an older version, fe. 2020.006.20034 of Acrobat Reader .

  18. Mouse cursor keep windows settings

    I have accessibility settings for mouse cursor in windows, big red cursor because I don't see little white/black cursor. In adobe reader it disappear hovering to document, it turn into tiny black cross-hair. Please keep it as i set it in windows.

  19. Settings to hide “Try acrobat pro” blue button in top right of program

    In February version of Acrobat Reader, a blue button that invite us to try acrobat pro is visible. But in a Corp environnement this is not suitable.

    The button is visible even if acrobat Pro is installed on computer.

    Please give us a setting to hide this button.
