    Crashes to black screen and have to hard power off the machine or a ACROCEF.exe - system error unknown hard error

  2. With the 64 Bit version of Reader (21.011.20039) you're unable to open XFA based forms. All you get is an error message saying "no error". After clicking [OK] you only see the Shell-PDF with the "Please wait …" hint. The XFA content isn't processed. The 32 Bit version seems to be fine but automatically gets updated to 64 Bit after some time.

    It's the same bug as last year.

  4. Would be nice to have a check box to say 'this is the way I want my UI setup', a la Microsoft File Explorer (use this view for all folders).
    The preferences as they are , are too complex
    Let the user set the window the way they want
    Then record that in the prefs with a single check box

  6. Adobe Reader DC version 2021.007.20099 has broken the Right-Click menu, removing "Marque Zoom". Yes, I know the icon can be added to the toolbar, but I and my staff have been using the right-click method for years and do not understand why we are now forced to change. Why can't we add it back to the right-click menu? It was working fine, why change it? Note this is a problem that generated identical complaints back in 2015.

Please add audio feature in it so that user of document can understand what to do in prepared document so it become easy to communicate information with other and get thing done, user of document then doesn't ask what to do in that document he simply click audit note and understant what to do in it.

  8. I share my computer with someone who does not have an Adobe Acrobat account. I would like to be able to sign out of my account but have them still use reader. As it stands now, if I sign out, they have to uninstall adobe acrobat and then reinstall the reader

    opening file Colour Cycle.pdf
    Top menu
    File > Print...
    Print Dialog
    Top section (Printer, Properties, Advanced, Copies, Help)
    Checkbox "Print in grayscale (black and white)" is unchecked.
    Expected behaviour: prints in colour
    Actual behaviour: printed in black & white.

    Why?

  12. Mostly there are many documentations which associates lot of text info referring a specific Image or Diagram. While reading the text, it always required to imagine the diagram if it is in another page and having a window side by side when clicked on this image to use it for referring while reading the following text or comparing other diagrams could be very useful to many industries.

    PDF's are usually 1) created by the author 2) sent to the recipient for review (mostly always it is a contract for me to review) 3) Edits/mistakes are communicated by the recipient to the author to correct. 4) Author corrects and returns to the recipient again for review/signature. 5) Recipient has to read the WHOLE contract over again (in my case 25 pages of an awesome rental agreement (wow what a miraculous story that was) when really I only want to review the areas the author edited (and review for the corrections only) without…

  19. Every time I send a document to sign. It always ask the client to review and sign. But that langue is extremely aggressive and literal losses me clients all the time. Because no one wants to push a button that says sign before even reading what's in the document.

    Can you just change it to review.

    Getting people to read a document is hard enough, I don't need a program giving them a built in excuse not to open it

  20. Many times, I am confronted with a text string that needs a search (I generally use Google) and from within Acrobat I must select and copy the text, then go to the browser and search. I know it sounds fundamentally lazy...but these steps if repeated over and over take time. From the Chrome browser, we can select and then right-click text and "Search in Google" is an option.
