The original issue reported in the main thread is resolved by giving a preference for checkbox in the latest release. The other issue reported by Ian Davis is under our radar and we will let the user know if we pick it for future release.

Please fix this issue. The colour preview becomes correct only after changing security settings, which is unexpected. Security settings should not affect colour rendering accuracy.
If there is a technical reason for this behaviour, the application should detect when colour rendering may be affected by security settings and clearly inform the user that the preview may be inaccurate. Ideally, it should also guide the user to the relevant settings so they can enable correct colour preview.
Preferably, though, colour should be displayed correctly regardless of security options.
