Unusable - Spinning Beachball

2019.008.20080 / MacOS 10.14.1

Since recent acrobat update, software is near unusable. Constant 30 second pauses (beachball), cannot add text to simple, single page documents.
Using Acrobat since v3, so I know my way around...

Thankfully Illustrator 2019 provides a workaround.

    I am again getting frustrated by how unusable Acrobat DC is in a professional design environment. Trying to mark up a 56 page PDF is excruciatingly slow. I am working on a brand new 2020 MacPro with 192 Gb RAM, there is no excuse for this awful software that I am paying for as part of my Adobe CC subscription.

    Adobe, SORT IT OUT.

    Same here. Will create a pdf from InDesign and will wait 30 seconds or more once Acrobat opens the file before I can do anything.

    Seconded. Acrobat has become an uniusabel program. I just use Preview. On a macpro with 32 gigs of ram. Theres no excuse for this.
