Acrobat needs an append option... or at least print multiple docs to a Portfolio
Acrobat needs an append option... or the ability to print multiple docs to a Portfolio.
All of the competitors have an option to print multiple files and add to single document. Acrobat even allows you to append scans to exiting pdfs. Why is there no option that does not require you to save multiple pdfs and then combine them. Seems easy enough... but when you have users refusing to switch platforms because they email statements to customers all day, the added steps of saving and combining documents would literally add hours a day to their workflow, You are not going…35 votesWe have taken your feature request. Set a default order for when combining files
Rather than re-ordering and re-arranging pdfs within a combined file, I would like to be able to determine the order files are compiled. This can be by file title (alphabetically) or others. Right now when I combine several files into one pdf, they are scrambled out of order and I have to rearrange manually which can be cumbersome for larger compilations.

Document title transfer from MS Word plug-in
In the PDF Maker plug-in for MS Office, add additional controls in the PDF Preference settings to make accessible PDFs:
Set the Display Title options to a drop-down menu with the choices of Document Title or File Name.

Please add the .msg file type as an option for converting email messages that are saved on a network drive to PDF Portfolio format.
We need the ability to convert folders/subfolders containing .msg files to a PDF Portfolio file. But the .msg extension is not a supported extension for conducting this conversion. The only way to do it is to create a folder in Outlook and drag all of the .msg files into the folder, which isn't practical and is an extra step. All of the other Microsoft file types seem to be supported (docx, xlsx, pptx, etc.), so I'm not sure why the .msg file type isn't supported.

Converting emails with attachments
Despite numerous Admins saying this matter has been resolved, it has NOT. We need to be able to convert .msg files and, rather than embed* the attachment, it needs to convert the attachment too (if not already a PDF) and place the attachment BEHIND the email. Email + attachment in one PDF, NOT embedded. Please address this, as it is a VERY important feature for law firms.

Option to HIDE email data from header using Outlook PDF Conversion
After searching for days on this forum and online, I've been unable to find any solution to preventing header information from appearing on Outlook PDF conversions.
Convert to PDF in Outlook automatically creates a header in the PDF file with the Author, Recipient, Date, and Subject of the email. Not only does it cause issues with formatting (forcing the layout of emails to be pushed down an inch or so) but there are plenty of circumstances where an email subject/author/date information may need to be hidden when printing.

"Create PDF" through Adobe Create PDF cloud service from Word 2016 for Mac does not maintain fonts
Steps to reproduce:
- Create Word document in Word 2016 for Mac
- using League Gothic, Monserrat, and Goudy Old Style fonts
- Click "Create PDF" under the Acrobat tab in the Ribbon
- allow it to create with the Adobe Create PDF cloud service
- Check created PDF
Expected to see:

Combine two small pages and create one single page
When I scan two pages and crop them, they are smaller or equal to an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. I want to be able to take the two pages and make them just one single page. There are many times that I have scanned something that had just a couple lines at the top of the second page. I may want to be able to shrink that to fit it all on one page. Don't capture bcc data when converting Outlook emails to PDF
When doing a batch conversion of emails in an Outlook folder, all of the emails are captured in a single PDF file. However, it would be nice to restrict what information is captured. For example, I'd like to have bcc information excluded from the email-to-PDF conversion.

One Click Sub-Folder Integration in PDF Portfolio
When you combined individual subfolders within a master folder when creating a PDF Portfolio, the previous Acrobat Pro allowed you to do this feature with one click. The current Acrobat Pro DC software requires that you create a portfolio and manually add the individual folders. Please add back the option for the one-click subfolder integration!

PDF Thumbnails in PDF Portfolio : Portfolio/ View / Layout
In Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Classic & Acrobat Pro 2017 the PDF icons on the left are quite large in Portfolio / View /Layout . It would be great if PDF Thumbnails could be enabled like in Windows explorer by checking the preference in General . I realise not all file thumbnails for all types of files could easily be created ( example Excel , Word )etc ..but we combine a lot of PDF secured files into a Portfolio & the thumbnail PDF view would really be a great feature in Portfolio/View / Layout

PATH AND FILE NAME INSERT OPTION
I would like to see a feature added to Acrobat that would allow Acrobat to stamp the path (location) and name of the document which was created. I am attaching an example of a document created with a different program in which the feature is highlighted..
It would also be great if that stamp would adjust and change as the document is renamed, moved or received and saved by the receiving party.

make Acrobat Pro compatible with IBM Notes version 10
Adobe Acrobat has been compatible with the major business application like MS Outlook or Lotus/IBM Notes since a long time.
With the version 10 of IBM Notes (that was October 2018) Adobe Acrobat 2017 is no longer compatible with this email suite.
The PDFMaker Addin did a great job in creating PDFs from Mail.
Unlike just "printing to PDF" the right border has not been cut when the text was too long and the PDFMaker did include all attachments from the mail into the final PDF.So the Adobe Acrobat was a perfect companion for documenting approvals and other buisiness…

Accessibility Problems with Images/Figures
I have a Microsoft Word file that has a number of images. I need to make an accessible PDF. I have entered alternate text for each image in MS Word. When I convert the Word file to PDF, the alternate text I had entered in MS Word is carried over to the PDF, which is what I want. The problem is that it puts all images/figures at the beginning of the tag tree no matter where the image comes in the document. When I look at the Reading Order for each page, it puts all images as the last item…

I'd like to be able to make a flip book (that turns the page like a magazine)
Title says it really. It's simply that there a lot of 'make your own flip books' softwares out there, but they are not well designed and expensive, when this feels like it is a sensible add on to what one can already do with Adobe PDF pro. It's annoying to have to go elsewhere for pdf expertise, as I feel Adobe should be able to smash this themselves.

"Merge to Adobe PDF" in Microsoft Word Filename Field
It would be very helpful if in the "Merge to Adobe PDF" function/plugin under Mailings in Microsoft Word to be able to specify a filename from the fields of my dataset. In other words, I would like to be able to have a column in my dataset that the plugin uses for naming files. It's horrible having to rename a hundred documents if you want to distribute PDFs.

BUG - Converting emails to PDF does not include jpg attachments
I updated to Adobe Pro 2017 and using Outlook 2013 with all current updates. When I use the Adobe PDF Maker in Outlook it will not include any jpeg files. I have verified the conversion settings are correct, I have even tried dragging a group of emails into "combine files" in Adobe 2017 but regardless the jpeg attachments to not transfer.
PLEASE HELP - I need the complete emails with all attachments for a legal case. I even purchased evermap to convert the attachments in a portfolio to PDF so they can be bates stamped. BUT if the attachment is…5 votesHi
