  1. PDF text disappears in Acrobat Application but opens fine in Acrobat for web

    Does anyone else have this issue of opening a PDF in the Acrobat application, and the text disappears, but when you open it in the Acrobat for web or in the preview app, its totally fine. Like what am I paying $25 a month for if the Web version is more reliable.

    Have tried to do all the suggested check for updates/ embed text/ remove security settings etc etc but still haven't been able to get it to work

  2. Could you please just STOP CHANGING THINGS?

    I had to spend A FULL HOUR OF MY WORK DAY today just trying to figure out how to add text to a PDF. Why? Because the "Add Text" and "Edit Text" features have now changed such that, instead of adding text where you click, they open up a bunch of raster layers which totally destroy the entire document if you try to type in them.

    Every time I used the "Add Text" or "Edit Text" it would rearrange all of the text of the form I was trying to fill out in ways that turned the entire document into…

    I will be very honest, I am hating this new version of the Adobe Acrobat Pro. It is taking me 3 times longer to edit my documents, awful.

  4. RUINED! the program i liked to use. Currently cannot wait to replace adobe with another product because the "IMPROVEMENTS" are killing me.

  5. Font Suddenly Not Showing

    Font is not showing in certain areas of PDF while other images are. Issue is occurring with 20 users on Adobe Acrobat for Mac. All are up to date, Replace Document Colors is not On. Security is off. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no change.

  7. Text recognition

    Please stop auto text recognition when I click on edit PDF by default. This function causes the file to freeze especially if I am working with large documents that contain layouts or drawings. It wastes a huge amount of time to wait until the application restarts again after a long freeze.

    When I want to insert cardinal numbers in a pdf document, Arabic numbers appear instead.

  9. Go back to the previous version

    Do the people who created this new software ever use Adobe Pro? It is terrible. The user interface was better with the previous version, editing a document has become extremely difficult. I am going to have to see if my company will switch to a competitor. Only reason we use Adobe is because we are a very large Microsoft customer and I guess Adobe is often teamed with Microsoft.

  11. link to an attached file, in a .pdf

    Currently in Acrobat on Windows 11, I can create a link to
    - another view within my document, or
    - an URL, or
    - a file on my computer.

    There is no way to create a link to a file that is attached to my document. This has been verified by Customer Support.
    I want to create a link to a file that is attached to my document.
    (NOT to a file on my computer, or on the internet!)

  12. Bounding Boxes

    What absolute hot garbage the bounding box system is.
    Each time I open my document up to do further edits Adobe has decided to link unrelated text together into new bounding boxes, ignoring the ones I had put the text into.
    I don't want, nor need, Adobe to do this for me. It's frustrating and makes getting my work done significantly more difficult.

  13. format copier/paint brush

    It would be nice to have an easy way to make the font, color and text style match that on the document being edited. This feature would be similar to the format painter option used in Microsoft Excel. The user keys the text edits and select a word or two from the documents existing text. Once highlighted, right click the text selection, and select copy format, and then they would select the text they added, right click on it and have an option to "copy format here" or something like that. This would keep documents that have been edited looking…

  14. Pricing model

    I would love to use the document sign feature of Adobe, but I only need it about twice a year at the most. I am willing to pay for this feature (one time fee $10? or light usage subscription, $30/year) but not $29/month. Please consider adding a low end option to your pricing model.

  15. Highlight area is too broad

    The highlight area is too broad. For one, when I try to highlight something, Adobe will auto-highlight text that I did not select. This leads to having to constantly highlight, delete, and highlight again to get the actual desired text. Acrobat will add more text to my highlight that I never selected in the first place. This slows me down tremendously as I am constantly having to do double the work. Second, if I try to highlight text that is close to text that is already highlighted, it won't let me highlight the new text unless I start my cursor…

  16. Crashing

    Issue, The application just updated a day or so ago. Now when I open a document, it and attempt to fill/sign, I get an error, and the application closes. The only message I get is included in this note.

  17. Organize/remove/add pages from the desktop app

    I am very frustrated that the ability to organize/remove/add pages from the desktop app was removed int he most recent version. When clicking the help/tutorials, it only gives me instructions for the online version. However, there is an organize pages icon which pulls up a list of pages. When I attempt to delete a page, it doesn't delete. I'm also not seeing a way to add additional pages.

  18. switch writing direction

    the old interface have the option to switch the textbox writing direction on the right click menu (for the supporting of Arabic and RTL languages), but the new interface is missing it, please add it as i preferer to use the new look.

  20. RENAME FILE EASILY IN ACROBAT

    WHY IS RENAMING A FILE IN ACROBAT SO COMPLICATED NOW? or it is easy?
    Why cant we rename pdf while we edit a pdf? or from the recent files view?
