  1. Fix comment feature!

When you spend hours reviewing and adding comments, no matter how many times you save as you go, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC doesn't actually save the comments. When you open the file up later your comments are missing like you never made them. sometimes it saves somethings, most of the time it doesn't save anything. worthless program!

  2. Color Code Comments

I review documents with comments from several coworkers. I'd like the option of having each commenter assigned a color. Then I would be able to scan the comments for a particular color to address that person's comments.

Right now, I can filter comments by person, but that removes everyone else's marks/comments from the page. I can sort the comments by date, so I just look at the newest ones, but that doesn't include replies to comments. And it makes it hard to get to the other comments on the same page.

Please add the option of each commenter choosing a…

  3. Hitting the Escape key deletes unsaved comment content

Closing a comment with the Esc key deletes text entered into the comment.

    Details:

    System: Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit Build 19042
    OS-Language: German
    Application Language: German
Acrobat DC / Acrobat Reader DC Version: 2022.001.20142

    Steps to reproduce

    1. Open PDF; PDF:X4 created with InDesign CC 2022 (17.3) using placeholder text generated by InDesign
    2. Open commenting toolbar
    3. Select text or place cursor
    4. Start writing ("lorem ipsum")
    5. Hit "Esc" key

Expected Result: Comment gets closed and text input is saved

Actual Result: Comment gets closed and only the first keystroke ("l") is saved

The same error can be observed for all commenting tools,…

  4. Get Font information in JavaScript

Please provide a function in the JavaScript Doc methods to get the Font Family/ font size of the nthWord on a page.

For context, I'm using an action to replace text with a new value via Redactions, ideally, I'd like to be able to font-match the Redaction with the font-family/size of the original text, so that the replacement isn't obvious. Currently, I'm having to use font-size 0 which can be hit or miss depending on the line-size vs font-size, and what font was originally used.

  5. Not all Comments showing by default in commented PDF

Open PDF – note that Acrobat DC reports one comment in sidebar on right of window.

This is on Acrobat Pro DC, up-to-date (version 2021.001.20155), Running on MacOS Catalina (v.10.15.7). Comments were made on Acrobat Reader DC for PC, (version 2021.001.20138)

Expected result – should display the amount of total comments in the PDF.

Observed result – only displays comments once those pages are navigated to or scrolled past.

This has been reproducible on multiple versions of MacOS

  6. Keyboard shortcut to import comments from another PDF

Everyone wants a keyboard shortcut, and I am no different, would love there to be a way to import comments from another PDF into Acrobat using a keyboard shortcut, vs. the current way of clicking the little dot menu. We do this all day long every day at the agency where I work.

  7. shared review comments export to Word

The export comments to Word is bugged and puts all comments into an empty file with no text. It exports as Word comments. This is not useful to anyone. I see that it was previously exporting along with the file contents. But now is not doing in the DC Pro. Seems to be a bug. Please resolve and allow to export comments to a flat file tabulation in Excel with columns for the comment, paragraph and page reference, reviewer, date. This can be used for creating comments resolution sheets as record of the review. I hope to see this functionality…

  8. Option to rotate text callouts after inserting from another PDF

When I copy text callouts from one PDF file to another, often times it is rotated the wrong way upon insertion. To fix this, I usually have to make a new comment instead and only copy-paste the actual text. This is very annoying, and there should be a feature that enables you to rotate these comment objects on the page to make them upright again. Or just automatically detect which way is upright upon insertion.

  9. Highlights are bigger than the Font

In some adobe pdf files, the highlight appears much bigger than the highlighted text. It could be due to the specific design of the font. This, however, makes reading and highlighting this specific document annoying. Could you please address this issue and allow the users to change the "highlight color width" regardless of the font/fontsize?

  10. Bug: Text Callout function comments not updating properly when edited from comment pane

    Recreate Bug:
    -Select Comment tools
-Select Drawing tools -> Text callout -> create a callout box
-Type any text and then click away. The comment pane will show the corresponding text for the callout box
-Select the comment in the Comment pane, edit the text and then click Post.

The text within the callout box will not update properly to the new edit.
Only ways to fix it is to drag the callout box itself and move it a little bit and the text within the callout box will update, or have the user edit the text within the callout…

  11. Files with over 1000 comments experience too much lag

It is still an issue in 2022. It is almost impossible to work on a file with more than 1000 comments; it is very slow, lags, and freezes. When you open 2 files with more than 1000 comments, Acrobat can't handle it anymore. It will stop working; it leads to: "(Not Responding)" forcing the user to quit Acrobat.

I have tried all the possible fixes/solutions and workarounds, but they do not work.
Our office uses fast laptops: Intel i7, 32GB RAM, and an NVIDIA Quadro T1000 for the graphics card.

When could we expect a resolution for this?

  12. Highlight shape is functionally broken

    Highlight shape is functionally broken

    Brief title
Text highlight appearance is functionally broken and makes identification of highlighted text arbitrarily and unnecessarily difficult.

    Steps to reproduce the issue
    Highlight some text

Environment (OS, other related application versions, etc.)
    OS: macOS 11.6.8
    Architecture: x86_64
    Processor: Intel
    Build: 22.2.20191.0
    AGM: 4.30.120
    CoolType: 6.2.4
    JP2K: 2.0.6.50420

    Expected result
Text highlight should make it absolutely unambiguous which characters are highlighted and which are not.

    Observed result
Acrobat apparently sacrifices basic, fundamental functionality in the name of… what? Aesthetics? See attached image for comparison of Acrobat behaviour with a couple of normal, non-user-hostile apps.
    As…

  14. Rational Sized Check Marks

Please make the check mark stamp much smaller. I'm an accountant. The stamps are so big they run over and interfere when trying check lists of information on a document. The check marks should either have an option to set the size or just make them no larger than can easily fit line by line on a bank statement or financial report.

  16. How to Increase Cash App Bitcoin Limit?

You'll need to increase Cash App bitcoin limit if you'd like to withdraw more Bitcoin from the Cash App. This will increase your withdrawal limit, usually around 7,000 USD per week. To do this, you'll need to contact Cash App's customer support team and provide documents proving your identity and address. The process could take a few days, depending on the length of time it takes to verify your account.

Once you've verified your account, you'll get a confirmation email. If you've exceeded your limit, the app will fail to process your transaction. In this case, you need to increase…

  17. How to verify the Cash App account to send bitcoin?

You must verify your identity and password to send bitcoin from your Cash App account. This Cash App bitcoin verification process takes about 24 hours. If the verification process is unsuccessful, you should contact Cash App support and ask them to confirm your account details. You can also try logging in with a different debit card. If the verification issue persists, you should not try to resend the payment until the problem is fixed.

You must provide a valid photo ID to verify your Cash App account. The photo should be focused and without glare, and you should submit a…

  18. View Comments Highlight Color

When I click the comment icon pointing to the spot on the pdf and look in the right hand comments column to see what the comment is, it is impossible to see what item is the one I just clicked on. There is a very faint grey background that is very hard to see. Can you make it more obvious which comment is the one I clicked on?

  19. Allow moving the "Set or change properties for the selected text" widget away from the textbox I'm editing

When I double click he text in a text box that I added, in order to change the font size or color, the editing widget covers up what I'm trying to edit. I'd like to be able to move that widget somewhere else on the page while I'm editing so I can see what I'm editing. Otherwise, I have to move my textbox, edit it, then move it back.
