  1. Lagging when comments are open on m1

    Using acrobat on the m1 with native OS mode on. When opening the search box or comment scrolling through the pdf starts to lag. Its not a smooth experience at all.

  2. Automatically add a document to multiple PDFs at one time

    One document needs to be added to a lot of other documents, say 20-100 documents.
    They all need to be placed in the same location - Before First Page, After First Page or After Last Page or Before Last Page as your other tools allow.
    Allow the selected document(s) to be added to the 20-100 documents without the user having to open every single PDF to insert the additional page(s).

    Now, it is a manual process and a painstaking process.

  3. Invisible guide lines, bug?

    Work in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and installed version 2021.007.20096.
    Now I can't see the guide lines when I drag lines from the rulers with the Marking Tool, I can only see the hair cross. When I click the spot I wanted the guide lines, then it shows.

    You helped me earlier today and installed an earlier version, 2020.013.20074 and the function worked again. Then when the program update it self to 2021.007.20099 the function failed again. I think this is a bug.

    Work in Mac Big Sur 11.6.

  4. STOP Surreptitiously Installing McAfee on Automatic Update

    While the fact that Adobe provides McAfee security for free as part of Acrobat is nice for those that want it, those of us that don't should not be forced to have it installed. Personally I hate McAfee. I use a different company for my computer/internet security and it's expensive, so when McAfee self-downloads and declares itself the default security system on my computer it makes me very unhappy.

    Basically I just wasted a bunch of time and money because I thought I had the Yahoo search redirect virus on my computer. Turns out even though I had uninstalled McAfee…

  6. Unexplained error

    Popup reads "adobe acrobat dc cannot etc. you need to download a copy of adobe acrobat etc. then you get two options either quit or repair and download new acrobat. Repair does not get rid of the error. So I now choose quit. I recently downloaded and reinstalled acrobat dc, and still get the error, usually after a cloud update

  7. Bug Report - Update 2021.007.10096 is not working

    Update for version 2021.007.10096 is not working. I've tried it three times through the Acrobet Updater and once through the Creative Cloud updater. Each time it ends with: Error. Please try again later." I am using Adobe Acrobat DC version 2021.007.20091 running on Mac OS Big Sur version 11.6 on a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016).

  9. Files update when saved over and still open in Acrobat.

    If a user saves an ai file as pdf (for example) and a "view pdf after saving" is selected, the pdf opens in Acrobat - but, the file DOES NOT update if the pdf is left open and the file is saved over. I personally do this probably 20+ times a day as a I tweak a file.

    Acrobat could have a setting "update open files." Many of us use acrobat as a final visual proof before sending to clients, currently we have to close, open/find to view files after save-overs.

    Make Pro DC work with Chromebooks or at least have an interface, so Chromebooks can utilize the web-based version of DC. A lot of new forms work in a dynamic fashion with signature blocks and fillable content that changes on selections. You are alienating an entire platform.

  11. Getting "Exception in line 1 of function top_level, script App:Init" in every folder-level javascript

    No matter how minimal of a folder-level script that I create (even with comments only), I am seeing "Exception in line 1 of function top_level, script App:Init" in the debugger console. If I remove all user scripts leaving only debugger.js, the message goes away.

    I have tried to catch the exception and the error never actually throws into the "catch()".

    When viewing a 3D pdf with Acrobat Pro on a Mac, the image shrinks to the bottom left quarter of the viewing space after activating it. This used to work and may be related to an Acrobat or MacOS update

  16. Interactive button does not load destination page correctly

    In an interactive PDF created from InDesign, interactive buttons do not load the destination page correctly when the PDF is viewed using the newest version of Acrobat or Acrobat Reader on a Mac.

    Steps to reproduce the issue:
    1)Create a 2 page document in InDesign
    2)Fill the second page with placeholder text
    3)Create a bookmark for the second page
    4)Create a button on the first page
    5)Set the button event to On Click
    6)Set the button action to Go To Destination
    7)Set the destination to the bookmark you created in step 3
    8)Export an interactive PDF
    9)Open the PDF and…

  17. Password required after Authentication App approval

    Windows 10 (Lenovo PC). Is the point of using the Adobe Authentication App to cofirm access when logging in not intended to make use of a password unnecessary? When logging in, we are asked to confirm on the app and then asked for the password. If a password is always going to be required, then the (mis-)information in the motivation for using the App needs to be updated.

  18. Split by page range

    10-14, 96-103, 108-115, 127-135, 146-153 It would be helpful if we could split pdf with page range like above. It will create separate pdf for every page range. This feature is available in Nitro pdf. Foxit users also can do this with extract feature. Please consider this feature .

  19. PDFs all display as yellow

    Acrobat updated yesterday (Version 2021.007.20091, used with Windows 10, 10.0.19042 Build 19042) and now all PDFs display with a yellow background, including all images. Changing the disability background color to white fixes the text, but not the images. See attached screenshots. This happens for all PDFs--ones I made 5 minutes ago, ones I made before the bug, ones downloaded off the internet. If I create a new PDF from a Word file, others without the bug on their computer don't see it as a yellow.

  20. Bad interaction with Adobe Community Professional

    I would like someone at Adobe to review the interaction linked below and take whatever action is necessary. I posted a sincere, respectful question, and I got a disrespectful, passive-aggressive response from a so-called Adobe Community Professional. When I called him on it, he replied, "I don't speak for Adobe." I would suggest that Adobe should make sure that's true. He certainly is not engaged in creating a helpful "community." I looked also at a number of his other interactions. Many of them have the same flavor of condescending abruptness, and don't really provide any help. If this were just…
