slow and laggy

Build: 19.10.20064.311007
AGM: 4.30.83
CoolType: 5.14.5
JP2K: 1.2.2.42216

Incredibly slow and laggy, UI is almost unusable. Using 50% - 100% of a single core just to scroll. Ironically I am trying to read the Adobe PDF Reference, Third Edition.

Really Adobe? I can't even read a 9MB file ABOUT the PDF specification in YOUR OWN software without it slowing to a crawl?

    Adobe, please stop bloating the software with unnecessary features! I don't need AI or screen reading features, and I don't need all that cloud nonsense either.

    Acrobat team: please, read carefully:

    I ***DON'T need*** AI tool because I don't use it.
    Acrobat is extremely slow even using short documents such as 2 or 10 pages.
    I want and need a quick responsive reader.
    I don't need AI neither Acrobat updates that also slow my computer.
    Is that clear?
