Adobe Licensing Application hangs after login on Mac OS 10.15.2 (Catalina)
When trying to start the newest version of Adobe Acrobat 2017 for Mac OS on Catalina after logging in with the Adobe ID the Adobe Licensing Application hangs. See: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/acrobat-licensing-application-hangs-after-login-on-mac-os-10-15-catalina/td-p/10752118
The software is unusable.

Seems like the application is facing an issue while writing tokens in one of the installation directories. It can be caused due to permission issues on your system. Could you please try the below and confirm if the issue is resolved:
Mac:
Quit the Acrobat.
Delete the OOBE folder by navigating to /Library/Application Support/Adobe/
Launch Acrobat and sign in.
Windows:
Quit the Acrobat
Delete the OOBE folder by navigating to \AppData\Roaming\Adobe
Launch Acrobat and sign in. -

****UPDATE****
In order to get around Adobe's installation glitch, I had to create a "root user" account, then log out, log back in as "root" and finish the installation (i.e., license application) from there. Then you can log out and return to your normal user account. Instructions: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204012ORIGINAL POST...
After migrating from one Mac to another Mac, Acrobat "pro" 2017 doesn't work (but all of my other apps do work). I have uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times and always get the blank "Acrobat Licensing Application" screen. I tried the instructions from Ansh below (cut & pasted the command line into Terminal) but that didn't do anything either other than spawn another blank screen. IS ADOBE GOING TO FIX THIS PROBLEM?BTW, the response to Ansh's command line is: "Class oobelibclass_CS7_7 is implemented in both /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat 2017 Helper Frameworks/OOBE/adobe_prtk_lib.dylib (0x1110a7728) and /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat 2017 Helper Frameworks/adobe_oobelib/acrolic/adobe_oobelib.dylib (0x1113fcab8). One of the two will be used. Which one is undefined."

That‘s literally what I wrote in answering my own post on the Adobe forum. I also linked to the solution here yesterday.

Thanks for reaching to us. The actual problem is that Acrobat 2017 is not having sufficient permission. Could you please give a try by running the application using super-user access.
For that, you need to open the terminal and run the following command: sudo /Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ 2017/Adobe\ Acrobat.app/Contents/MacOS/AdobeAcrobat
If prompted for the password, enter the user account one. This is just the one-time activity, post that you can launch the Acrobat from Application folder or Dock.
Please let us know if it didn't work.
