option to open in read mode by default
The first thing I do when I open a PDF 90% of the time is Ctl+H to go into read mode. Could there be an option to open in read mode by default?

Make Reader view Default. Put a small button on the tool bar to toggle reader view. The UI bloat is horrible. I don't need 99% of the Tools and features and I absolutely detest the constant new tool pop-ups that shrink the viewable area of the document. We get it. you have to justify the cost of development of these tools that may be useful in a single instance or helps an extremely niche profession, but like 99% of your customers; I just want to READ A DOCUMENT. THIS IS WHAT PEOPLE MOSTLY USE ACROBAT FOR. GIVE US WHAT WE WANT

I'm installing a pdf reader and hence when I open a pdf i want to read it. This software has been bloated with features I never use/want and an interface becoming extremely unproductive due to an overload of buttons and pop-ups for functions needed in 0.0001% of cases.
As you have the read mode, give me the option to USE it.

At present, there is no option to open all pdf files in Read mode by default. Whenever I open a pdf file, it always opens with all the tools on the left side. These tools are very rarely used. They clutter the space and eat into the space of the pdf file. So, each time I have to close these tools manually. A tremendous amount of waste of time and energy!

+ add the feature to permanently hide the whole "Toolbar" as well.

Lack of this setting option makes using Adobe VERY annoying!
