When closing documents, the selection dialog does not get focus
I have updated to the current Acrobat version 2024.002.20759.
Now when you close open documents, the dialog window that follows (save / don't save / cancel) doesn't get focus. I then always have to click into the dialog window instead of conveniently making the selection using the keyboard.
I use Acrobat on Mac OS Sonoma 14.5

(Apologies if there's a more current/active topic for this. It was the first result I found that summed up the problem.)
Having the same issue. Very frustrating that this is still happening in 2026. I originally thought it was just a me-thing, but coworkers often share screens and I've yet to see anyone get an in-focus dialog box when closing. Always gray.
I tried to google some solutions today (again), with no luck. Google suggested cmd+delete/backspace. When I did that, another window popped up ABOVE the grayed out save dialog box asking if I wanted to delete a page (had a thumbnail selected). Also discovered I can arrow-up and -down through the pages while the grayed out save dialog window is open. That's not normal! lol
I just want to be able to close the file without saving. Cmd+w, cmd+d. Simple. Works in every other app. But with Acrobat, my flow is completely broken because of unexpected (non-)results forcing me to use the mouse to click the save dialog/a button.
Would be fantastic if this could get fixed sometime soon.
Thank you!
