Mozilla Firefox since v127.0 cannot install anymore the Adobe Acrobat Pro extension (adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi) file
Tested on more then one PC: The Adobe Acrobat Pro extension (the adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi file) cannot be installed anymore in the Mozilla Firefox web browser and it always gives an error message upon its installation: "This add on could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt".

I have the same issue:
The installation of Acrobat Continuous Release brings an Add-on for the Browser Firefox. Since sideloading's of Extensions are no longer supported in Firefox, the installation of the Acrobat PDF-Extension needs to be done manually.
The *.xpi-File "adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi" can be found in "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Browser\WCFirefoxExtn\WebExtn\signed_extn".
Unfortunately, the Code Signing of the xpi-File is outdated, leads into an error message during manual install.
Firefox is an important browser, the Firefox-Extensions for Acrobat should be maintained in regular intervals, so that they work in the latest Firefox-Versions.
