ACROBAT DC PRO - SO SLOW OPENING PDF FILES

Opening pdf files can take as much as 30-45 seconds to open. This is occurring across the board with all of our company's users. Based on the number of posts about Acrobat being slow, when can we expect to have a patch to resolve this ongoing issue?
