Multiple issues with new Acrobat Standard 2024 operation
I have a new Dell Precision laptop and installed the newest version (2024) of Acrobat Standard. It does not function properly.
- Sometimes printing a pdf it does not like the fonts and defaults to a .log file.
- Trying to print an existing pdf double sided, it only flips on the short side no matter how it is configured.
I figured that the installation was corrupt, so I attempted to 'Repair'. However the repair fails and gives Error 1311 stating that the "source file not found. Verify that the file exists and the you can access it." The stated source file is present and I can access it.
I am forced to uninstall and reinstall. However, there does not appear to be a S/N, and the Adobe account page has no convenient means of installation, only invoicing info.
I am a long-time user of Adobe, but it seems to have gone down hill.
