I cannot disable the popup "Try Acrobat Pro with a 7-day free trial"
Please either get the Preferences/General/Messagews from Adobe - "Show messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat Reader" checkbox to work.
Presently, it resets as soon as I close the app
OR
Add a choice to "Do not show me this message again" onto the "Try Acrobat Pro with a 7-day free trial" popup.
I have zero interest in Pro and if this persists (like all the other dev wet dream 'improvements') then I will be looking for alternatives. I certainly don't want another AI infection tampering with my workflow.

Oh wow, that sounds super annoying! I totally get wanting to turn off those pop-ups, especially if you're not interested in the Pro version. It's a good idea to have a 'don't show again' option.
