new font selection feature sucks
Hi,
I use Acrobat for wok daily, and use the font selection on a regular basis to format for legibility. I know exactly the fonts I am looking to select. The feature was working just fine before.
Then you decided to add a sentence about a brown fox jumping next to each font selection. As a result, you managed to slow down both the app and my workflow. Please revert the change!!! You're making it so much more difficult for those of us who know what they're doing. I thought I signed up for Acrobat Pro. Why are there training wheels on it now??

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I understand your concern that the updated font picker has slowed down both the application and your daily workflow, especially since you already know exactly which fonts you want to use.
To clarify the intent behind the change: the “quick brown fox” preview appears only when no content is selected. When text is selected, the font picker should instead preview your selected content in each font. This is designed to show how a font will render actual text, particularly when exploring different typefaces. The update also provides access to the 20,000+ fonts available through Adobe Fonts, which are already included with your Acrobat Pro plan.
We recognize that for experienced users, speed and efficiency are critical, and we appreciate you calling out the performance impact this change may have on your workflow. Your feedback will be shared with the relevant team.
Aside from the slowdown you mentioned, are you experiencing any other issues with the new font picker?
