Remove AI, remove upsells, remove feedback and focus on productivity
This is a business critical app that costs a lot of money (as part of the CC subscription). I want to open PDFs quickly, review them, close them and move on with my work. Instead, every time EVERY SINGLE TIME I open a PDF, you ask for feedback - PLEASE RATE THIS 1-10 HOW LIKELY ARE YOU TO RECOMMEND TO A COLLEAGUE?... then another window pops up that completely disables the app (can't even resize the application window) that tells me about all the new eatures you've added and you hide the close button so I have to hunt for it.
Then when I've closed all Acrobat windows and try to move a PDF in File Explorer, it can't be moved, because, SURPRISE... Acrobat is still running. Open task manager, and there are 12 Acrobat processes running, even though Acrobat is not open anymore. After manually end-tasking these processes, I was finally able to move the PDF.
JUST STOP. I pay for the app. That should be enough. I don't want AI, I don't want upsells, I don't want popups, I don't want fancy options, I don't want to recommend this to colleagues, I just want to open PDFs and do my job efficiently, and at the moment, this application is an absolute neusance and is debilitating to efficiency.
Please PLEASE remember that this is a business-critical app. It's not a Barbie doll that requires pushing, makeup and marketing - it just needs to open PDFs and be fast about it. No popups, no AI, no nonsense. Or at least give me the ability to turn off all the nonsense and toggle to "work mode" (currently, to disable all this nonsense, you have to click through 20 preference screens, and even when I've disabled everything, including the AI, you STILL show the me the AI, and you STILL show me popups and upsells.
