Disabling "Automatically Detect Form Fields" doesn't work
Environment: Windows 11 Business. Acrobat Pro Version 2026.001.21789 64-bit (I saw the note about Acrobat DC. Acrobat Pro sent me to this feedback page, so I cannot take responsibility if this is the wrong page.)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Navigate to Menu -> Preferences -> Forms.
2. Uncheck the box next to "Automatically detect Form fields" and click OK.
3. Restart Acrobat as many times as you want.
4. Open a file that normally would have Form fields auto-detected.
5. Open the E-Sign/Fill and Sign menu.
Expected result: Acrobat does not detect form fields unless the user asks it to.
Observed result: Acrobat continues to automatically detect fields, placing blue rectangles on the document that the user can click and enter text into.
