"For Signature" Chaos
Where is the "remind" setting?
We are now unable to sort via "pending" "out for signature" and "completed" for businesses, this is critical for tracking mass mailings.
We also can't see WHO (email address) we are sending the documentation to- we must rename every file to reflect this??

That is correct. Having the context board take up 50% of the screen may be a bit obsessive but it would help with the "one stop shop" ideal. That context board also allows the users to quickly see "who" we are sending the document to/most recent status/ or "this is signed by Chelsea but waiting for Charles signature etc. etc.
Also, will we ever have the option to -just- Print again? The fact that I must download the document (wasting space on my work computer) to then print and THEN remembering to delete the document from my downloads (because we must protect our customers sensitive information- remember Adobe is how most business handle SECURE documents) is time consuming and just...a pain- haha. Could this be another feature to add back?

Hi Karley,
Thank you for talking to us. For your question about setting reminders, in the flow you are describing, would be terribly time consuming. If I understand what you are asking, the "preview" screen is what we call the context board. The thing that shows up on the right hand side when you check the checkbox on the For Signature page or select a row on the Adobe Sign Manage page. Is that correct?
Essentially you want that right hand panel to take up more real-estate on the screen instead of just that small section on the right hand side. In this format, lets say it was split 50/50, you could see a larger thumbnail of the document instead of the one that fits in the upper right corner. Is this what is being asked? I can file this as an enhancement request if it is, it makes sense to me, but I want to be sure I am capturing what you are asking first.

My apologies for my initial frustration-large changes and updates that you did not request/accept can be jarring.
In regards to my comment of the "remind" setting, this was implemented about three business days after my initial post. I see it clearly now whenever we populate on For Signature>Selecting the document check box> Looking under activity. However, this is still somewhat frustrating in the sense that the the preview page (top right) is so small you can not make out the document. You must then click the middle of the document to (wait for the 3 second load time) to see the large screen to then hit "remind".
Would it be possible to allow the "preview screen" to be a bit larger? When you are handling hundreds of documents and need to remind "20" of them you have to click to enlarge the screen to hit remind to then go back (which sends you to the Recent Home Page) and repeat the steps. The old system you could simply go down the list and knock them out. Thoughts?
Sorting: when I first logged into the new system, the "wonderful" tutorial to show us around did even mention the filter tab. Remember, you have to hit For Signature to handle anything with your documents, the Home Page with "recent" is basically useless because if your document has been pending for too long welllll to bad- it isn't there (not to say this isn't a good addition, just need a bit of tweaking, the whole too small preview pane hurts here). Going back to the Filter- you must hit the "For Signature" and see the small funnel in the top right side.
I completely missed it- had to google search instructions after I wrote this frustrating post.
Thank you for reviewing the "who" suggestion. I think this upgrade would be wonderful for users that use Adobe as a Personnel Use setting. For Business Use this is really hindering us. I appreciate you listening to your customers.

I can see that "Manage" is back. Thank you.

I cannot speak to how that part went in the planning of the release. I am one of the engineers, though, and I do take the feedback seriously. As of a few hours ago, the ability to use the Adobe Sign Manage page was added into Document Cloud's "For Signature" screen. There is a toggle on the right hand side that will let you switch to the older view.
Thank you for the feedback, even when it is painful for us to hear. It helps to make sure that things are better going forward.

Dean,
With respect, comments like "We are looking into this." suggest there was not a lot of thought of the **users** that went into this massive gutting of an application.
Think about it: there's an entire section of the UI set aside for "Shared Documents" yet no readily-available way to ID to whom they were shared. (Searching for an individual name/email is not the same.) -

Hi Karley,
The remind functionality is in the context board for an agreement. You can show this by checking the checkbox when you hover over an agreement in one of the tables like "Recent", "for Signature", or search results. This is similar to what was in the manage page before.
For the sorting, the status column on the "For Signature" page is sortable. Does this not give you the information you need for this one?
As for the "who", this is there, but not necessarily in an identifiable place. We are looking into this. For now, though, you can do a search on the name (not ideal, obviously, if you don't know the name to start with), or you can select an agreement and it will show you the participants in the context board.

Hello,
We appreciate all the feedback in this forum, it was through this forum that the idea to integrate our services was incubated and developed. And while we don’t always get it perfect out of the gate, we do appreciate the feedback and hope you will continue to help us improve our products and services.
With that said, this new release gave us the opportunity to step back and look at all the document related activities that our customers are performing - e-signing, reviewing and sharing documents. We have redesigned the new Document Cloud user interface to deliver a single web destination for managing all these document related activities. Moreover the same interface and experiences are also available from Adobe Acrobat DC and Acrobat Reader Mobile to allow you to access your documents and activities from any screen.
All the Adobe Sign functionality that you are used to is still available within this new unified user experience and all of your data is also still accessible from the new User experience. We do acknowledge that any change is difficult but rest assured that the change was made with an eye towards providing more functionality to you for your document needs in the future and surfacing more of your document activities front-and-center in the UI, capabilities that you already have access to.
Once again we appreciate all the feedback and hope that your will join us in this journey that we have embarked on to provide you with the next generation experiences around documents.
