Opening a PDF in a Windows virtual desktop should open an instance of Acrobat in the current virtual desktop
With the introduction of virtual desktops in Windows 10, some users such as myself have multiple projects going on simultaneously. The virtual desktop feature greatly aids compartmentalization in this aspect.
Let us say I am working in a virtual desktop called vd3 for instance, and I do not currently have an instance of Acrobat running on vd3. Now I open a PDF file and there is already an instance of Acrobat running on a different virtual desktop, say vd1. Now, instead of opening a new instance of Acrobat in vd3, Windows forces a switch to vd1 and opens my PDF in a new tab in the instance of Acrobat on vd1 instead of in a new instance on vd3. This impacts productivity.
If there is already an instance of Acrobat open in the current virtual desktop, then this works as expected: a new tab is opened in the instance of Acrobat in the current virtual desktop. However, one must first manually remove a tab from an existing instance and then move that new instance to a new virtual desktop and this can become a nuisance.
It would be a good quality of life upgrade if a new instance of Acrobat was automatically started in the current virtual desktop if there is not an instance of Acrobat already running.

Bug.

"Out of Suffix" Warning
New Adobe updates (downloaded 9/17/20) always give an "out of suffix" warning before opening a file. The problem occurs when trying to open a file for viewing and when generating a new PDF from another program. The warning is not causing issues within the PDF itself, it's just annoying to have to click "Ok" several times on this warning every time before being able to open a file. It is also unclear what the warning means or what it affects.

Allow users to deselect the McAfee offering
I was not given an option to unselect the McAfee security offering at install. I only wanted Reader and nothing else but it installed all so I had to go through the uninstall process for the McAfee portion.

Keyboard shortcut for fill & sign
Please add a keyboard shortcut for fill & sign! Adding this speeds up the process for signature on PDF documents for confirming invoices on the logistics/business side of things.
It doesn't take much effort to add the option for custom keyboard shortcuts too if you can add this to the paid Acrobat version.

allow users to keep a toolbar displayed
Allow users to keep a toolbar displayed. I have to constantly go to View<Tools<Comment<Open to display the Comments toolbar.
I should have the option of keeping that toolbar open and have it persist even to another session using the software, until I instruct otherwise.

Remember where I left off option
Acrobat Reader DC should have a setting similar to Chrome based browsers to "Remember where I left off". Example - I have have 5 tabs for 5 different PDFs I'm reviewing, it would be extremely helpful to be able to shut down the app and have it reopen all 5 tabs again when reopening the app

PDF file type association broken after upgrading from Reader 2017 to Reader 2020
In Windows 10, the file type association for .pdf stops working after upgrading from Adobe Reader 2017 (Classic Track) to Reader 2020 (Classic Track). Issue occurs if file association was originally configured by DISM or user for previous Adobe Reader version. The same .pdf file association is expected to work with new Adobe Reader versions.
Double-clicking a PDF file displays Windows prompt "How do you want to open this file?". The HKCR registry key still contains an entry for the ProgID, AcroExch.Document.2017. Should the Reader 2020 installer remove the HKCR\AcroExch.Document.2017 registry key? Deleting the key appears to resolve the issue.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Install Windows 10 Enterprise.
2. Install Adobe Reader 2017 (Classic Track) using bootstrapper installation (setup.exe).
3. Set default PDF program manually. This can also be applied using DISM during operating system deployment with XML containing the following entry; <Association Identifier=".pdf" ProgId="AcroExch.Document.2017" ApplicationName="Adobe Acrobat Reader 2017" />

Saving PDF in one click only
I would like to be able to save a PDF in only one click.
Currently, I have to click 3 times. I click on save.
1. The 'Save as' windows open (this window is a fraud btw).
2. Then I have to click on the folder that I want.
3. Then I have to confirm the file name in the right folder.
Other softwares (such as Foxit) allow to simply save in one click my PDF in its original folder. As simple as that.

Unable to get new comments in Adobe Reader for review via SharePoint site
We do reviews via shared commenting on our SharePoint site. Reviewers using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2021.005.20060 on Windows 10 are experiencing the following error when they click Check for new comments:
First a SharePoint dialog appears that never appeared before. If this dialog is closed the message " Could not get new comments. Login credentials are expired or invalid; please re-enter your sign-in for access." appears.Expected Results: Any new comments should appear, or a message "no new comments" should display.
This issue is also noted here (seems to impact other Acrobat versions too): https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/could-not-get-new-comments-login-credentials-are-expired-or-invalid-please-re-enter-your-sign-in-f/m-p/12370427

Bug: radio button and checkbox styles set in InDesign not working in Acrobat
Since a recent Adobe Acrobat DC update, button styles set in InDesign are no longer working. They still work when the pdf is opened in a browser.
Steps to reproduce the issue: Create a radio button or checkbox in InDesign. Customise the style appearance for the on/off settings (colour, shape, text, removing default checks and dots, etc.). Export to Interactive pdf. Open in Acrobat. Button off styles have now reverted to default style settings. When you click on a button, it briefly shows the correct on style, but once you click off it reverts to the default style again.
Environment: InDesign CC 16.3. Adobe Acrobat DC 21.0. Windows 64-bit.
Expected result: button styles set in InDesign remain activated in Acrobat.
Observed result: styles revert to default settings in Acrobat.
