ArvindAn error occurred while saving the comment Kelly Vaughn commentedI have spent 6 hours on the hone with Microsoft Sharepoint support specialist and they were able to confirm that I should be able to have commenters make comments on a Sharepoint review, yet it still doesn't work.

An error occurred while saving the comment Kelly Vaughn commentedThis has nothing to do with Acrobat. Acrobat does not auto translate, and even if it did, it would not be smart enough to correctly translate a crochet pattern. You need to choose crochet patterns that are already in English.

Hi All,
Fill and Sign and Adobe Sign (formerly known as Send for Signature) are now consolidated into a single Sign tool where you can either fill & sign a document or get a document signed from others. It includes a simplified experience that asks you who needs to fill and sign first: you or others and then walks you through the steps to complete the task. It’s the one place for all your form filling and signature needs. For detailed information, you may refer to the article What’s new in Adobe Acrobat DC
This is designed behavior, I will check with the team and will share an update soon.
Thanks for your time and patience on this.
Regards,

An error occurred while saving the comment Kelly Vaughn commentedYou can already do this. It's just hiding. It's not part of the Quick Tools, but you can sort of customize the toolbar. Here's a video showing how to customize the toolbars. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpG3kDvmTJ4&t=214s

An error occurred while saving the comment Kelly Vaughn commentedBluebeam Revu doesn't hide this feature from their users.
Plus, the Properties bar hasn't been updated in a decade and isn't dockable.

In the latest update of Acrobat DC, we have modernize the commenting experience and at the same time, made it very clean and intuitive to use.
As part of this update, we have changed the background color of the active comment as dark grey color to differentiate from other comments.
On hovering other comments, the background color of the comment changes to light grey to bring the comment in focus. However we will consider your suggestion for future updates.

It seems that the people who were put in charge of redesigning the user interface have never actually had to do any real work in Acrobat. I've turned off all auto updates.
For those frustrated Acrobat users who are looking for a way to truly have a customizable workspace, check out Bluebeam Revu. It has many of the features that Acrobat users have been begging for for YEARS. It's designed specifically for the AEC industry.
Revu such a great program that I even went installed Parallels on my Mac for the sole purpose of being able to use Revu (instead of Acrobat) for my PDF commenting needs.
Little by little, Acrobat is whittling down its useful capabilities and alienating its users along the way. It's a sad and frustrating experience for those of us who have worked with Acrobat for decades.
