Copy text out of comment
1 Copyedits made in a comment format are nearly impossible to copy and paste
2 Receive PDF with comments.Select text in comment, either in popup window or in sidebar list, and copy to clipboard. Check clipboard contents: empty.
3 Any version of DC, Mac platform. Have deleted files, the application, all Adobe software, reinstalled. Created new user profile. Purchased a NEW COMPUTER and installed DC. The problem is OS-, file- and device-independent.
4 Expected result: copying text would result in it being copied to the clipboard.
5. Observed result: nothing is copied. Has been the case since the initial release of DC. Pro works fine.

I have to mark up multiple pages with the same edit and I have always just copy and pasted comments and red lines en masse. Now text comments will not copy. How did this new version get so much worse? It now takes way, WAY longer to do what was the simple part of my job.

Hi, not sure if exactly the same issue, but you could be experiencing the roll-out un-highlighting bug that I just reported here:
https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/33581557-comment-popup-text-very-difficult-to-select-and-coHope that may help you. If so please vote for and confirm with a comment on my post to help get traction on a fix.

Anything? Please? This is an ongoing nightmare. I have to use this workflow every day and the fact that text will not copy from a comment to the clipboard adds a huge time and frustration burden to my work and to my bottom line.
This bug was reproduced using screen share with tech support over a year ago, and I have seen nothing further about it since then. -
