Acrobat pro is a disaster. The people behind should learn how to built user-friendly software. The workflow with this **** software makes no sense.

The only thing Acrobat has to do is handle documents, which it totally sucks at. Literally the worst performing app that I have to deal with in my professional life.

This is the biggest piece of **** app i have ever paid for.. I'd rather go back to foxit reader.
DC is so clunky compared to XI. When i tried DC for the first time, i uninstalled it and stuck back to the old one. you'd think they would listen to the community. I download it 3 years later to find it is still a piece of ****.

Adobe Acrobat Pro is an absolute disaster.
I expect this to be read by four other furious Acrobat users who are dependent in this **** software, and immediately ignored by Adobe. This application has cost me tens of thousands of dollars in lost time and function errors for clients. I cannot begin to explain the embarrassment it has caused my clients and my company.
I have been working with Adobe products for almost 30 years, and not only does Acrobat not allow revisions without scrambling text, creating arbitrary text blocks in the middle of words and changing fonts WHILE I'M EDITING, BUT it also doesn't like documents created from it's own products, like Illustrator and InDesign.
The claims made by Adobe are untrue and potentially fraudulent. I cannot recover the time and money, where I have completed a design and converted it to PDF, walked through the editing process with a client and all of the capital letters disappear, not convert to lower case, simply aren't there. Or when a single text block gets broken into 20-30 deferent text blocks some breaking words into individual letters. And within those text blocks, Acrobat assigns a different font. Like one that isn't even on my system.
Remember Quark? They fell asleep at the wheel and Adobe stepped up and saved us all, only to turn into the Quark, Publisher, subscription only option they we are stuck with. Adobe's customer support is substandard and a stain on Adobe.
After three decades in this business, I have no choice but to recommend more intuitive options for my clients for document designing and editing. They are out there, they are cheaper and they work.

Acrobat Pro is ****, it is ridiculous to use. Some features which would seem obvious to use cannot be found. If you search Adobe or the web they tell you to look under non-existent menus. OR menus which may have been on a different version.

Thx for this thread. I need to let go of some frustration.
I feel like a driver for a very old car that has no modern features, square wheels and very uncomfortable seats.I'm missing many simple features. Many current features are weak, missplaces or not working properly.
Everything you make and do get a very amateur:ish feel to it.
Sometimes Acrobat crashes, sometimes make other programs that it interact with crash.
It feels like a very early access application.
I cannot recommend Acrobat Pro at its current state.
Remarkably overpriced product.//Andy

I receive digitally signed documents. Open these in Acrobat Adobe Pro, signatures disappear. No explanation. App is clumsy to work with. Something "out of range", won't save. No explanation. All this equals "sucks".

Agree 100% with comments below. The latest version of Adobe Pro totally sucks! Over complicated and counter intuitive even for the simplest of tasks. Absolute rubbish!

I paid good money for this product but Adobe can't even remember this and keeps on asking about my subscription status - even after following the ridiculous "approved" approach to fix this.
Also, I have to agree with other that the UI is just outragious. For example there is a normal expected way to save files on Windows - Adobe however thinks they know better. YOU DON'T!Ready to find an alternative that doesn't raise my blood pressure.

Echo all the comments here. The worst version of what used to be great software. DC is PAINFULLY slow scrolling pages on even the most simple of files. The worst part is Adobe is just sitting there getting fat on their license fees. Get to work and fix this app Adobe. Competitors ARE coming for you, your monopoly is ending.

Acrobat DC SUCKS!! I have been working with Acrobat since version 5 and without a doubt this is the worst. Somebody at Adobe needs to be fired for thinking that DC was an improvement over previous versions. Adobe should be required to provide refunds and apologies to everyone who bought this garbage. Bring back the menus and toolbars, and GET RID OF THE HUGE ICONS. If you are in love with big icons make a version for use on a phone. My mouse does not need an icon big enough for a fat finger. I am looking for alternatives, and will not buy Adobe products again.
