Portfolios created in earlier versions of acrobat opened in Acrobat DC
Currently in acrobat dc opening old portfolios created with older versions are rendered useless. Very few options for operations are available. To convert older portfolios suitable in dc, I had to go through following process:
There is a way to convert xi portfolio to dc portfolio:
Try this:
Open portfolio created in xi in acrobat dc
right click anywhere, select all - this will select all files in portfolio
extract files
save to a temporary folder, say working files
select all files in working files folder
right click, combine files in acrobat
select save as portfolio or uncheck save as portfolio box
rearrange order if appropriate
click combine
save pdf portfolio
I concede that Adobe did a number on us, but some day they will incorporate conversion feature to open xi portfolio as dc portfolio.
So, I will appreciate making things simple using older portfolios.

I Created a Portfolio Document in Acrobat DC consisting of 2 Acrobat DC PDF's and could not use any of the Tools on this 'combined' PDF, Help said to "Unstick" the individual DC Documents in the Portfolio but there is no Option to do that. I cannot "Save" or "Save As" this Portfolio (Greyed Out) .and all "Save as Other" options do not work (to Save as one Single PDF File.
Verified in Help About this is "Adobe Acrobat Pro DC"
Version 20.18.011.20055Any Suggestions on (a) Modifying documents in this Portfolio and (b) saving this Portfolio as a new Acrobat DC PDF (single) File?
