app freeze when opening document

When ever opening a PDF document the program freezes for multiple seconds which gets frustrating when face pace action is needed

    15 seconds. You are lucky! Mine freezes for minutes sometimes. I have tried everything. Selected reading option for read current visible only. Uninstalled and reinstalled program twice. Next step is to Uninstall permanently and convince my company to stop using Adobe products completely.

    This is really frustrating! Acrobat hangs for roughly 15 seconds shortly after opening a PDF. This behavior startet about 1 or 2 months ago.
