Custom Stamp from Illustrator .AI file — not working!

As noted in the public forum (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/custom-stamp-file-format-in-acrobat-pro/m-p/13655124#M403839) users can no longer import an .AI graphic and make it into a custom stamp.

This bug just happened with the latest 2023 release. All other file types appear to be available to import, but not Adobe Illustrator .ai files.

I can only select PDF files, no longer able to select .png or even Excel files. Very annoying for our business.
