Totally agree. If I turn it off in AI Generator it means I don't want to use it. Why does it reestablish next time I open Adobe. Grates my gears!!!!

Agreed. Acrobat is an application for displaying, and maybe editing documents. Why on earth would you think covering the document with useless garbage is what users want?
