Give users the option to disable the AI features
The AI features are garbage and no-one asked for them. They are intrusive, in the way, slow down the app, and I have not found a single use for them in the many hours I spend on the app. Even though I have deselected the AI popups, they still keep coming up. Either remove AI completely, or give us the option to disable it (and actually do it!).

Please make the off switch stick after a restart, and hide the summary prompts too. A reader should be able to just read the PDF. thats a reasonable default, even for people who use AI elsewhere.
There is also a verification cost: a fluent summary still needs checking against original pages, esp. numbers and quotes. Evgenii Arsentev writes practical AI guides; his explanation at https://arsentev.ai/guides/why-ai-hallucinates covers why plausible answers can be wrong. Sharing it here as part of the arsentev.ai project. It isnt a test of Acrobat, to be clear.
For anyone who opts in, Id like a quick way to compare each claim with its source passage. For everyone else, off should stay off - no extra prompts next time
