past updates don't get written over
Adobe Acrobat Pro: everytime it downloaded an update, which are 1 gigabyte at a time, it doesn't over write the previous update and the updates pile up, hidden. I ended up with 25 gigabytes of unnecessary files. Because it is incremental, I couldn't figure out if the computer was failing or if something was eating up the memory for over a year. Our IT person had to use a special program to figure it out.
