Subject: Feature Request – Native Factur-X / ZUGFeRD Export in Adobe Acrobat Pro
Dear Adobe Acrobat Product Team,
I am a professional graphic designer and Acrobat Pro user based in France.
With the upcoming mandatory electronic invoicing regulations in France, and the widespread adoption of ZUGFeRD in Germany, I believe Acrobat Pro is missing a very important feature.
Acrobat already creates PDF/A-3 files, but it cannot generate and embed the Factur-X (or ZUGFeRD) XML invoice into the PDF.
Adding a native “Export as Factur-X / ZUGFeRD Invoice” feature would make Acrobat the ideal solution for millions of freelancers, small businesses and accountants across Europe.
Many professionals already design and generate their invoices as PDFs in Adobe applications. Allowing Acrobat to automatically create the embedded XML would eliminate the need for additional software and greatly increase the value of Acrobat Pro.
I hope your product team will consider adding this feature in a future release.
